I hate to be discriminatory, but I'm just curious what the other guys' daily routines are. what brand of products do you use? what's your morning and night routine?
I have a feeling this thread will get one, maybe two replies.

Well, if I only learned one thing from faithfully watching two seasons of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy was from Kyan:

lol...ok well...I shower in the morning when I get up (usually), and then I brush my teeth, and moisturize, etc...lol
In the shower I use:
- Suave 2 in 1 Shampoo (its cheap)
- Loreal Superior Preference conditioner
- Villa Floriani Cucumber Cleansing Gel (facial scrub. I would die without it)
I use Crest toothpaste. And Old Spice deodorant. And I use Eucerin replenishing moisturizer, and then Nivea for Men aftershave.
Sometimes I use Axe spray to get a little extra fragrance, but I never use more than two sprays! :p
At night I just brush my teeth. :)
I want so much to be like Patrick Bateman, it's not funny.
"I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion."

I'd be interested in what other guys here use as well. My grooming routine consists of the following, every morning:
Shave- I use 'Barbasol' shaving cream, lime scented if I can find it. I use disposable raizors, typically 'Gillette' or 'Schick' but only the ones which are labeled for 'sensitive skin'. For many, many years I was an electric shaver, but I find now that I'm older I prefer a closer shave.
Shower- I use 'Pert-Plus' shampoo most days of the week because it has a conditioner built in and makes my hair nice and soft. Usually, I will use the Pert maybe 5 days in a row, then switch to 'Prell' which wipes out any of the build-up that Pert is notorious for leaving. Does anyone still 'shower-rinse-repeat'? I only wash my hair one time while in the shower, no repeat for me.
After my hair is rinsed, I use 'Neutrogena' glycerin soap for my face with a 'Buff-Puff'.
After my face is rinsed, I move on to the rest of my body using anti-bacterial deodorant soap in this order: arms, pits, chest, back, naughty bits, buttcrack, legs, feet. Then, I rinse the hair one more time, and the body.
It sounds like alot of work, but I can do it in about 12 minutes. I dry myself hair first, then face, neck and rest of body. Extra attention to drying my naughty bits and buttcrack because I once had a fungal infection and I don't ever want it to come back again.
Sink- heading back to the sink, I dry my ears using store-brand 'q-tips'. Then, I swig a mouthful of 'Listerine Cool Mint' and swish it for 30 seconds. With a mouth still full of Listerine, I then apply whatever was on sale toothpaste to my brush and start brushing. Toothbrushes are whatever was on sale, too. Medium bristle. Spit, rinse, and dry face. If my fingernails and toenails need it, this is the time where I'd clip them since they are softened by the hot shower.
Then, I use classic 'Nivea' lotion on my hands, then face, then front and back of neck. I go into the bedroom, get dressed, then return to the bathroom sink to apply a tiny dollap of whatever was on sale gel to my hair.
If I'm going out in the evening, I'll repeat the whole process with the exception of the 'Nivea' lotion which I will replace with Davidoff 'Coolwater' body lotion which has a nice fresh scent. This will gets applied to the same places as the Nivea, but also to my naughty bits and buttcrack.
So, my brands which I am loyal to are only: Barbasol, Pert, Prell, Neutrogena, Nivea, Listerine and Davidoff. Everything else can be store-brand or whatever is on sale.

Mine is pretty boring.
I use this Loreal Future E stuff with some noxious acid in it every morning and night. It doesn't burn when it gets in my eyes and it isn't too oily. Then slather my mug with pure aloe vera. Occasionally I use some masky clay **** to strip a few layers off - like If I have some event to go to or something.
I like to use shave soap and a brush for shaving with pretty damned hot water and some crazy 4 blade razor. The brush makes all the difference in the world. Of course, just to be silly, I use the following products that I got at Whole Paycheck:
<IMG SRC="http://usera.imagecave.com/casparky/Large182.jpg">
<IMG SRC="http://usera.imagecave.com/casparky/Large183.jpg">
Oh, and I use Crew shampoo and conditioner. A lesbian friend turned me onto that ****.
The major deciding factor in all of this is minimal or no fragrance, frankly. A hint of lime or mint is all I will tolerate.

I'm a Kiehl's fanatic. I've tried all kinds of skin care lines since I was a teenager and I've never found anything with the quality that Kiehl's products have.
My routine is almost always the same. I get in the shower, and wash my hair with Frederic Fekkai's Full Volume Shampoo and then the Glossing Conditioner. Every morning. Then I wash my face with Kiehl's Non-Detergent Foaming Facial Wash. On Tuesdays and Fridays I use Kiehl's Facial Fuel Scrub on my face and neck - it's a great product but I only use it twice a week. My body wash is Kiehl's Grapefruit (it smells incredible and sooo clean). I use the Kiehl's Scrub Bar on my back and my elbows and feet - anything that needs exfoliating, actually, except my face.
Once I'm out of the shower, I apply a little bit of Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Cream to my hair and I comb it in. I then put Visine in both eyes (I cannot live without Gatorade and Visine). I run hot water in the sink and I shave with Kiehl's White Eagle Shaving Cream -- it's the best shaving cream I've ever tried. I then apply a small layer of Kiehl's Ultimate Moisturizing Cream on my neck but not my face. For my face I use Kiehl's Sodium PCA Oil-Free Moisturizer. This product is the oly moisturizer that I can use that doesnt make me look really oily a couple of hours later. For a daytime eye cream, I use Kiehl's Eye Alert - its got caffiene and vitamin E in it and I'm crazy about it. I then slather on some Kiehl's Cream De Corp moisturizer on my arms, elbows and legs. And then I put a little bit of pochuli oil on my wrists. I use to wear cologne but I've just been wearing a little bit of cheap ass pochuli and I get more compliments than you can imagine.
At night I take a shower but I dont wash my hair. I have a dermatologist prescribed lotion (Elidel) to prevent dry skin and I apply that to my face after my shower. I alternate between two nightime eye creams - Kiehl's Creamy Avacado Treatment and Kiehl's Cryste Marine Firming Eye Treatment. And if my skin feels dry or I've been out in the sun that day, I use a little bit of Kiehl's Abyssine Cream on my forehead, nose and around my ears and neck.
Teeth: Crest paste.
Lips: Burts Bee's Lip Balm. Love it!

Ryan, we both know that's not true.
I'll give you my husband's routine for the hell of it. :p He uses Pert Plus & Irish Spring in the shower. Speed Stick deoderant (blue cap "fresh" scent only!) He'll slap on some of my lotion (usually Jergen's) if his skin is dry & itchy. I don't even think he washes his face - well, he probably uses the Irish Spring in the shower. Never any hair or skin products, and he stopped wearing cologne years ago. Sometimes I wish he'd start wearing it again, but I love the way he smells after a shower, so I guess I don't miss it that much. Brushes teeth with Colgate (but bitched about the whitening version Ibought - "too fizzy.") Shaves his head (number 3 on the clippers.)
Low maintenance, my guy is.

Ok, ok, I'll drop brand names...
I use the entire men's line of Noeveir (sp?) products. The face moisturizer, after shave & foaming body soap. (optimal word: FOAMING   )
Can't recall the brand (Biotek? seems to ring a bell) of Citrus Mint shampoo & conditioner I use.
"The Body Shop" cucumber scented bar soap.
Since I seem to ALWAYS have either a full beard (winter) or goatee (summer), I just...{Kyan on Queer Eye would have a coniption fit}...dry shave when shaping/trimming beard or goatee. (but I keep a can of shaving cream from the 99 Cent store on hand, just in case) I use a Gillette Mach III razor.

Shower. I use Radox "Refresh" shower gel or Gillette "Arctic Ice" shower gel. I don't use shampoos and conditioners 'cos they tend to do more harm than good to my hair.
I use a Gillette Fusion razor with Gillette shaving gel, Colgate "Whitening" toothpaste.
Deodorant is usually Gillette "Arctic Ice" or Lynx "Pulse" or Axe "Kilo".
I use Nivea face cleanser and Nivea active firming moisturiser.
Hair gel is Ted Baker.
As for fragrances I use Armani "Code" for work. Giorgio Armani "Acqua Di Gio" for evenings and weekends. Sometimes use Hugo Boss "Energize" too depending on my mood. I also have Hugo Boss "Blue" and Ralph Lauren "Polo Sport" too if I really want to go with something different.

I wash my hair only 3x (or 4) per week. That may shock some folks. It makes my hair flat and unmanageable! I use a generic full body shampoo...whatever I can grab...shampoo doesnt matter to me. On the face, I use this Clean and Clear foaming wash. I use an antibacterial body wash., but also have varying body washes to "change my scent up". I have been using Axe body spray of late. I also wear Old Spice deodorant. The Sport stuff or the "After Hours" scent. I cut my fingernails once a week usually...always looking after my toenails...I HATE long toenails. I'm keeping an eye on the nose hair...thats always a plus. I dont really do any plucking of any kind. I have noticed that I have to shave my face 3x per week now as opposed to twice, which is how it was for years. I use a sensitive skin Gillette shaving cream. I brush my teeth with NON whitening Colgate. I use mouthwash daily too. Qtips to keep the ears clean.

Okay, here goes:
Teeth-Crest Whitening toothpaste and crest mouthwash. I use burts bees on my lips to keep them kissably soft.
Face- I wash my face (usually in the shower) with Neutrogena anti acne formula. I rarely get pimples and I owe it all to that little transparent amber bar. I moisturize with Clinique M and it works really well for me. It's not greasy, but it lasts almost all day. Occasionally I'll get a clay mask or a peel to get the dead layers off. Once every two months or so. For shaving I use the Mach 3 turbo and the accompanying shave gel.
Hair- I'm an Aveda whore, pure and simple. I use aveda shampoo (it varies from rosemary mint, blue malva, sap moss, etc) and conditioner. I have a moisturizing treatment that I put in once a week. For styling I have the forming cream and sap moss spray. When my hair gets longer and a little shaggy I use confixor.
Body- Dove moisturizing body wash and a poof. Shut up. I use the Axe deodorant/anit persperant stick. I don't like the spray.
Skin care- I use aveda hand and foot relief as well. The foot relief does wonders if you ever get those dry patches of skin on your elbows. Dab a little on there and all is well.
As far as cologne is concerned, I like the faint scent of it so I usually only spray myself once. That's probably why a bottle lasts me a year or more, but so much the better for me. Right now I have Kenneth Cole Reaction. I'm thinking of getting D&G next.
That seems like a lot, but I can usually whip myself together in about 45 minutes.

My cologne is Boucheron
I wear little hair product - but when I do, it usually is some kind of gel.
And - I clip the body hair once a once.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I'm a body hair clipper too. Especially the underarms, and the naughty bits.
When I was in college, I used to wear patchouli too. But, my partner of 13 years absolutely hated the smell of it and basically condemned me from wearing it forever. But, he's gone now- so perhaps I should buy a vial again. In the same vein as patchouli, I used to also wear something called 'Egyptian musk' when I was in college. It was an oil, sold in small vials.
As for Burt's Bees, I tried the lip balm but found it too difficult to apply. Maybe I got a bad tin of it, it seems like it was a hard-ish mass which I couldn't get out of the container onto my finger. Like a wax candle. So, I had bought a tin of Burt's Bees hand salve, which is much more viscous and I found that it spreads easier and I use it on my lips instead.

I love the Burt's Bees hand salve.
here's mine:
morning - use the bathroom, strip, weigh. in the shower, I have a specific routine. brush teeth with whatever toothpaste I have and Spinbrush Pro. rinse. bathe with soap, usually a French-milled soap, then follow up with a good smelling body wash. right now I'm using the Exotic Infusions Moroccan body wash. once a week, I'll do a good body scrub all over. then, I wash my hair with Dove volumizing shampoo. I like Aveda's Rosemary Mint too or any good, cleansing salon shampoo. then, I put conditioner in (I have to use the same brand/scent of conditioner as the shampoo I use). every now and then I'll do a hot oil treatment or something. while the conditioner is doing its thing, I wash my face with Origins Clean Mint wash or philosophy's Purity. once or twice a week, I'll do a scrub. then, I shave. I will only use Mach 3 razors and Nivea for Men Sensitive shaving cream. then, I rinse entirely one last time. step out of shower and clean ears with Q-tips (no offbrands; I hate offbrand Q-tips). comb hair, no product usually. slap a light body lotion on arms, chest, shoulders, elbows, lower back, knees and heels. put on deodorant, I only wear Suave Sun-Ripened Raspberry. don't ask why, but I'm scared to try anything else. then, I spritz a little cologne. I have worn Acqua Di Gio for almost 10 years and it's my staple, but lately I've been wearing a little Burberry Touch or Clean Men, will try Rochas Men next. then, I put on Oil of Olay Complete moisturizer with spf on my face and neck. that's something I'm not seeing a lot of you do. you must wear sunscreen. I know some of it can seem heavy, but it's really something you need. then, I put a little philosophy hope in a tube under my eyes and a little Lip Fusion on my lips. then, I get dressed. sometimes, I will wear a tinted moisturizer or apply a little, light MAC powder to even out my skin tone and fill in my eyebrows. on a daily basis, that's about all that I'd wear.
once I get to work, I dab a little Aveda hand relief before I get started working. throughout the day, if my face feels dry I put Aloette Nutri-C Moisture Creme on. it's light and does the job.
night - wash my face with Oil of Olay cleansing cloths or philosophy's Purity and alternate between La Mer face cream and eye cream and philosophy hope in a jar (face) and hope in a tube (eye). every now and then, I'll do a deep oxygen exfoliation with Oil of Olay's Regenerist line.
I'll do a Queen Helene's Mint Julep mask now and then to get rid of blackheads. I do a hand treatment and fix my cuticles probably twice a month. I give myself a manicure and pedicure, pluck my eyebrows and any stray hairs and do any "personal" grooming every Sunday night. every now and then, I slather myself with a good body butter. usually something from The Body Shop. I put lotion on my hands constantly. usually Aveda Hand Relief. it's the best hand lotion ever. I also always keep something on my lips as I have a tendency to lick them til they are dry. I use Lip Fusion or anything Burt's Bees. I've never had acne or a pimple problem (luckily) so I don't really have to use any type of acne treatments.
every six weeks, I get my hair highlighted (yes, I'm not a natural blonde, shocking I know). I get a haircut probably once a month.
if I'm going out somewhere, I'll apply some (a little) MAC foundation, a little bronzer, fill in my eyebrows, vanilla on eyelids and dark brown in creases of eyes and a little Lip Fusion in a mauvey color. I try to look as natural as possible.
other product lines I like are Baxter of California, Anthony Logistics, Zirh, Jack Black, Clinique, Kiehl's and Sharps.
Mikey - I used to LOVE Clinique's M lotion. I can't remember why I stopped using it, but I think it was because it didn't have spf. does it now have spf?

I love the Burt's Bees hand salve.
spf on my face and neck. that's something I'm not seeing a lot of you do. you must wear sunscreen. I know some of it can seem heavy, but it's really something you need.
I know I should. My mother has had multiple basal-cell carcinomas removed from her face through the years, so I'm tempting fate. But, I find that sunscreens make me feel greasy, and also they burn my eyes and taste awful if it comes near your lips or mouth. I mean, I don't wear sunscreen for daily wear, but if I know I am going to the ocean or will be laying by the pool all day, then I will apply.

And - I clip the body hair once a once.
With what- a lawnmower???
...put on deodorant, I only wear Suave Sun-Ripened Raspberry. don't ask why, but I'm scared to try anything else...
There it is again... You're scared to try any other deodorant??  What the hell are you going to do when Suave discontinues that brand??
I do the following
Shower: Pantene shampoo and conditioner - Dove sensitive skin soap wash stuff (by hand, no poof like Mike)
Then lotion- Lubriderm on arms, torso, face
Q-tips to clean ears
Speed Stick Irish Spring deodorant/anti-perspirant
Brush teeth: Crest spinny electro tooth brush with Mentadent toothpaste and Listerine Cool Mint mouthwash
Dry hair and apply molding cream by a company I can't remember
Spritz on Polo Blue by Ralph Lauren
Ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom. I shave once a week. That's about it!

Okay, well I wash my hair about once a week  I have a night cream that I used to use when I was on accutane, and still continue to use it. I wash my face at night with a Dermelogica face wash (http://www.dermalogica.com/default2.asp?region=?&location=?)(best facial wash ever) and use a Dermalogica moisturiser and sunscreen (http://www.dermalogica.com/default2.asp?region=?&location=?)during the day. I used to have an under eye cream, but I don't really give a **** about that any more...

Mikey - I used to LOVE Clinique's M lotion. I can't remember why I stopped using it, but I think it was because it didn't have spf. does it now have spf?
The regular M lotion does not, but they do have M Protect spf 21. I haven't tried it so I really don't know if it's as good as the regular lotion.I'm thinking it's a little heavy for my skin type anyway.
I do wear sunscreen when I go outside for extended periods of time. My honky ass goes from pale white right to pink with no stops in between so I need to be on top of that.

I know what you mean, but the Oil of Olay Complete is not very greasy or heavy and doesn't taste bad or anything. as for burning your eyes, all sunscreens will likely do that, you just have to avoid your eye area and use something formulated specifically for that area.
There it is again... You're scared to try any other deodorant??  What the hell are you going to do when Suave discontinues that brand??
I know. I'm pathetic. I don't know what I'll do if/when they discontinue.

Dove sensitive skin soap wash stuff (by hand, no poof like Mike)
I said shut up!
Okay, I'll admit it. The poof is about as gay as it gets, but it gently exfoliates and leaves me shiny and new! You just don't get that with hands or a washcloth.

I never used it on my face because like you said it is too harsh. I'd be red for days. It's great for use on the body, so try it out. Of course to get the natural glow you'd need a different kind of poof. ;)

I tried Eucerin sensitive skin facial moisturizer with SPF 30 recently & I love it. It's very light, non-greasy & really gentle.

Soap in the shower - Old Spice Body Wash - Fresh Scent I think.
Shampoo - none since I'm currently bald again.
Soap in the sink is plain Dove.
Shaving Cream is Gillette Gel.
I buy UltraBrite tooth paste because Consumer Reports said all tooth paste is the same and that UltraBrite performed better than most and is by far the cheapest.
I use Brute deodorant and aftershave because I love the name and the smell.
That's about it.

I used to use Head & Shoulders 2-in-1 because it was the only shampoo I could find that didn't see my hair getting gross by the end of the day. But I've ~moved on~ to Suave Coconut shampoo + conditioner.
My soap is Dove ~Energy Glow~.
Facewash is Neutrogena Deep-Clean ~invigorating~ scrub. It rules and my skin is always clear.
Deodorant's Ocean Spray Speed Stick.
Toothpaste is whatever we get, but if I have a choice, it's usually Crest in whatever variety I feel like. I tried Burt's Bees toothpaste for a change once and it just felt like I was brushing my teeth with water. Booo.
Shaving happens once a week or so nowadays because I'm too lazy to do it as often as I should and, really, who am I trying to impress? I use a Gillette Mach 3 that I got in the mail from the government as a gift for turning 18. Woot. Shaving cream is Gillette, too, for ~sensitive skin~.
And, uh. That's pretty much it.

I just started using Neutrogena moisturizer, and I'm loving it. I had been using the Clinique M stuff for years, but I got a sample of the Neutrogena and I was hooked. It smells better, lasts longer, and it doesn't leave a hint of greasiness. Better yet, helllooooo SPF.
