The Ultimate Stevie Survivor 1st Round With... Other Side of the Mirror

Last round, when voting ended, the 2nd half of Rock a Little won with a vote count of 4-1.

So we are halfway done with the first round. Today we pick it up with OSOTM. The highly debated, love it/hate it magic album. Which side do we prefer?

I think I prefer the 2nd half again. With songs like Juliet and Escape From Berlin, the 2nd half in my opinion is just stronger and envokes more emotion.:nod:

I voted for the 2nd half. To me, Alice is, and really should be, the title track of this album. It explains exactly what the album represents and it gives the true meaning to TOSOTM.

I had to vote for the first half...Rooms on Fire, Long Way To Go, Ooh My Love, Ghosts, and Whole Lotta Trouble are too great to pass up. Alice is cool live but the studio version isn't too good, Fire Burning and Cry Wolf are okay but not as good, and I Still Miss Someone, BLEH! First half is definitely better imo.

this is pretty difficult to choose and I didn't really think it would be...like Jimmy, as much as I love Alice, I don't think I could do without Ooh My Love...so, my vote goes to the 1st half.

Hands down, anything that includes Rooms on Fire gets my vote since it's probably my favorite Stevie solo song of all time. I also <3 Whole Lotta Trouble. The second half of the album has 3 songs I consider 3 of her worst- Fire Burning, Juliet, and I Still Miss Someone so this was easy for me. I do however love Alice and Doing the Best I Can but sadly they are not enough to make up for the 3 stinkers.
