I bought the dvd-a of Rumours about a year ago but I never got around to listening to it because I don't have a dvd-a player and it never occured to me that the mixes of the songs would be any different than the remastered cd version. So last night I'm like "I'm bored, what the hell" so I popped it into my portable dvd player with headphones on and was compleeeeetely blown away by the version of Never Going Back Again. It's so clear and that instrumental part in the middle with the snare and the volume swell guitar solo is just jaw dropping. If anyone knows of a way I can turn it into an mp3 I'll happily upload it if any of you haven't heard it.

I'm pretty sure we all discussed it to death when it was first released - it IS fabulous. It's the only way I can listen to Rumours anymore. I've got surround sound in my living room - I've forced many friends to experience it for themselves. I love how the vocals and instruments literally swirl around you.

The true DVD-A mix (high resolution 5.1) is even better than the standard mix (Dolby Digital 5.1) that you hear if you're using a standard DVD player.

I downloaded easyutensils dvd audio ripper but I can't seem to get it to work, maybe because it's not a normal dvd. any other suggestions?
