View Full Version : Ledgies, I AM BACK!!!!! In A Limited Capacity!!!

My dear ledgies,

OMG it feels crazy being back here, and so soon. The surgeries went well, and I am doing as well as can be expected.

I got back from the hospital yesterday. The two surgeries were around a total of 13 hours. The did both of them during one operation, so that was lucky. They took out a rib to help with the fusion of the spine.

Right now, all my days consist of is sleeping in my bed for a couple of hours and then coming down to the family room and sitting in the recliner for about 1.5 hours and then going back to my bed.

I am so surprised that I am even on the computer right now, but I am doing remarkably considering the circumstances. I am stiff as a mofo and can't move AT ALL!!!! IT is so stiff and very very difficult to get out of bed as my spine in the fused part doesn't really move at all.

But like I said, I am back. My postings will be very limited, but I know you all will be happy to hear that I had my Stevie playing in the room all the time, and today I listened to Wild Heart for the first time in months.....

*HUGS* Ethan, Gawd luv ya, you've got SPUNK! The Ledge doesnt deserve such loyalty! (but then Brian J regaled us all with HIS medical misadventues and subsequent bravery so I guess maybe it does :D )

Anyway, Im glad you made it thru ok, take care of yourself, and DONT do anything stupid! The Ledge isnt going anywhere so recuperate and take it easy!

Great news about the opp's. New you'd be fine. WOW Stevie 24/7 how amazing would that be? Seeing as you are so stiff you should temporarily change your name to Ironing Board :p.
