I'm doing everything I can to have the sore throat wiped out before Saturday. I'll be hella crazy tomorrow trying to pack and get ready to leave early Friday morning. I hope to see a lot of you there. I don't think I'm supposed to give out specifics, but come early or you'll miss me. as far as my setlist goes...I think it's ****in' awesome. I'm doing a few things Stevie hasn't done in concert in YEARS and two that have NEVER been done in concert. it's going to be awesome. after my set, I'm gonna change and mingle around for the rest of the show til my encore, so please stop me and say hi and let me get a picture witchu! I'll also be debuting 2 new shawls. :laugh:

I am so damn tired. and a little perturbed with this place, but I at least owe it to you to wrap up this thread. so, I'll just give a quick review, it was a blast. everyone had a great time, I think. the club was awesome...very nice and chic. the staff was wonderful, the techs, the sound guys...all A class. Nickie and Barbara and Michelle are so sweet and genuine. and very talented. everyone brought it. I was so excited to finally see Michelle live and she proved to be well worth the wait. Nickie sounded a lot like early-era Stevie and Barbara is just Barbara...fabulous Rock A Littleicious. there were a couple of sound problems and kinks, but they worked them out quickly. the turnout was ok. of course, we would've liked to have seen the place packed, but there were plenty of people on the dancefloor and everyone was dancing and filling the room with lots of energy. I had a great time and met lots of awesome people. and thank you Sparky for the Snoopy!

my setlist was:

Jizzy your voice was fantabulous. You shoulda told me you were gonna sing "Fall From Grace" - I would have loved to have been the Sheryl Crow to your Stevie. I was singing the harmony in the audience throughout that whole song.

I was stunned when you hit those freeeeeking high notes in "I Can't Wait". JEEBUS!!

In addition to the fact that Jizzy has an amazing voice, one of the really cool things about this event was the music they were playing before and in-between performances.

The Factory is a great club (it's been around forever in various incarnations- Studio One, Axis) and it's top notch in terms of decor and classiness. To be in that club and have songs like "Thousand Days", "No Questions Asked" and "Sweet Girl" from Enchanted Disc 3 blasting and thumping out of the sound system is exhilirating. Geoffrey and I ordered champagne and I basked in Sonic Stevie...

Sometimes these events can have a high Creepiness Factor- but, this one was great.:thumbsup:
