View Full Version : Got my copy of CV in UK !!!!!!!!
I live in the UK and in panic I ordered fron US Amazon and Amazon CA last Wednesday: and at 0830 this morning[Monday] the DHL delivery man was knocking at the door with my copy of Crystal Visions. I almost took the stairs 5 at a time and he must have thought I had escaped from a mental institution in pyjamas and electro shock hair:blob2: but I am well impressed with Canadian Amazon!!!!!!
I can't wait to spend the day in Heaven, may have to ring in sick to work.......
Sorry to bore everyone but I thought it would take weeks.......Thank you Canada x

How fantastic, i wish i had done that. I was told by HMV that it would be released today, but just been on CDwow , and they are saying a May release date in the UK, I am going to try Amazon canada now - thanks for posting that. Enjoy:blob1:
Just been on to Amazon Ca and they are only showing the CD and not the dvd, did you get the dvd? Oh it's so confusing!!!
Yes it is CD and DVD I got the expedited delivery it cost a bit more but was obviously worth it it is still showing on there as pre order but its here and you have to be in to sign for it but they deliver early.
You can also track where your package is at any time I checked on Saturday and it was still in US and there estimated delivery times must just be for worse case scenarios............ just go for it I am proof they get it to:wavey: you quick

I have ordered it thru CDWow. The NTSC, Region 0 version of the DVD. My DVD-player won't probably play it, but my laptop will.....they said it will besend out today...so hopefully pretty soon this week it'll end up in my mailbox downstairs.

You ordered it from Canada.... you are in the UK... and it was the cd/dvd version. am i right so far?
Does the dvd play in the UK, cos I thought that they were different in the US and Canada - so only play on American/candian players? hence why i haven't ordered it.
Have I got this all wrong? if so - tell me immediately - I'll be straight to the online store!

I have ordered it thru CDWow.They have it listed now? They didn't for the longest time. Great, that made my day. I'm going to order now.
....just checked, it's only 15 euro and free shipping. Nice.

I ordered mine through CDWow too although they sent me an email today saying it wouldn't be shipped until March 30. Just so you know! :)
The DVD is coded "ALL" region, no coding at all, and plays on all my DVD players. It is amazing we have watched the whole thing Stevie is so funny and has "crushed" my illusion of being mystical she is so down to earth and her commentary had me screaming with laughter especially about her hair and lip synching I love her even more if that is possible.

OK You are right I live in the United Kingdom where we are region 2 however the DVD part of the 2 disc set is Region Free and plays in any DVD player, I ordered it from the Canadian Amazon site and have just ordered another copy as it comes wrapped in cellophane and I am one of those people who keeps an unopened copy.

hi all...i'm glad u got ur copy of cv and that it plays over there...it was going to cost me 11.95 to expedite my copy so i'm off to best buy tomorrow...just wanted to say i'm glad our amazon was able to get ur copy to u so fast...take care...pat

I also ordered from CDWow and they sent a delay email twice :[ So I cancelled and orderd from Amazon instead. No idea how long it'll take to get here though... :mad: I can't wait, I can't wait...!

CD WOW Cashed my money and send no CD and no info on when they think they'll deliver. So I contacted them and they have some stock/delivery-issues...hopefully they'll solve in a few days...otherways I'm gonna order my bank to cancel the payment and I'll order it thru Amazon or something.

I pre-ordered mine from CDWow and it arrived on Friday. It was delayed twice but they emailed both times and then it shipped on Tuesday. I was thrilled to get it too!

Received an Email today, that they had shipped my CD/ I had to expect up to 5 days before it should be arriving....

Watched all the videos with commentary at work and blasted the crap out of our speakers here with Stevie's RnR version. :cool:
