The band sounds great, and so does Stevie, but when the backup singers came in with "awww" I expected them to sing "batman, batman, batman" (you know from the tv show)

Thanks for sharing this!

Mmm. No I don't hear Batman there. That's the only part that sounds "Led Zepplin" to me on her version. I never really liked that song until I heard Sheryl Crow do it. And I'd say Stevie does it better because her presentation is so different. I love the keyboards in this version and the girls sound fabulous. It sounds like everybody there is rockin'.

Thank you so much for posting this.

And Vanessa Carlton's facials while doing it are hilarious

according to the liner notes:

"I recently performed 'Rock and Roll' at the Montreux Jazz Festival with Nile Rogers and Chic, at a tribute to the great Ahmet Ertegun. Robert PLant was there on the side of the stage and congratulated me after our performance. He told me I did a great job. That meant the world to me--another one of the great rock and roll moments of my life."

kinda thought so...after hearing the little snippets of that show a while back...

My new favorite song!! I'm getting very excited for the new tour now, especially if she can do a repeat of that performance.
Bravo!
