20.Estranged4life described an accident he had recently in the What are you THINKING right now? thread. What room number was he in and how many staples did it take to close his wound?
OBVIOUSLY...
Actually I would've preferred these (Alternative) questions instead:
20. Estranged4life recently mentioned that with each utterance of the words "Eye Sack" (Which he first coined while watching the subtitles to Stevie Super Bowl pre-game performance of "Stand Back", and relaying the subtitlist mispelling of Chris Isaak's last name) he should be paid $1, so how much $$$ does the Ledgie community NOW owe him?
20. Estranged4life described an accident he had recently in the What are you THINKING right now? thread. Why is his wife going to enjoy removing the staples from his hand? Is it because he is an asshole or because she is a sadistic bitch nurse? Or is it to avoid wasting $$$ on the trip to the ER to have the staples removed in 30 seconds?

I got a whole bunch wrong as I didn't read the search results carefully. In the results, it looks like the author of the post is saying what they are quoting.....for example amber quoted Jazz about namaste yoga and it looked like she was the one who did that kind of yoga.

Congrats Deanna. Sorry about the bucky threads all, I tested the questions a week ago so apparently he'd deleted them in that time. When testing I was able to find all answers using Ledge Advanced Search. I knew the Phoenix age one would be hard but we had to have one that would be tough! As it is the contest was over in 1 hr 50 min which I think is very fast! Deanna is wicked smaht. ;) :xoxo:
Here's a tip too, you can use Google on any Web site, just type your search string and then site:ledge.fleetwoodmac.net. For example:
Crystal Visions release date site:ledge.fleetwoodmac.net
I was able to find that using The Ledge search tools though.

i saw this thing being posted about ages ago. there was a big build up and now I read the thread an it was over in about 10 minutes which would mean only a few people online. just found that confusing. but its none of my business really since I wasn't part of it, still......that was it?
I like trivia questions but this one made me laugh. I guess it just seems more plausable with questions like.....i don't know.....who was the first man in space or whatever its your board you can do what you want but you can't deny that trivia about the ledge really makes one say "what the ****?!".
i'm being too honest. just had to say.

^^^but some of us have NO lives, and have small apartments, in the hard drive, of the Ledge.:o BTW, I have a sublet for you, CHEAP!:D
'Course, I had no part in the contest(I heard the basket was coffee and chocolate...I hate both, soooo......) I agree though, I thought it was gonna be some long, drawn out thing(like the Rumours forum game), not a three hour tour(a three hour tour)...........

Actually, you didn't "have to" say anything. The contest was always going to be questions about Ledge threads, and was described as a 20 questions contest, the first one to answer them all correctly would win. So I'm not sure where you got the idea the questions would be different trivia than that and why it would be dragged out. Then again you usually show up just to be critical anyway.
Andre shouldn't even have bothered trying to do something nice and fun for everyone since very few seem to have appreciated it.

well, if you saw the thread about this being posed "ages ago" then you know very well that it was going to be with respect to The Ledge and Ledgies since the whole point was that the questions would be built off of threads and the answers would be found in threads. not confusing to me...
also, that's why Andre' posted a new thread that notified everyone to be ready to go around noon on Saturday.

I think Fur raises a good point about the length of the contest, though. I participated and I still think it went really fast. Granted, it's sort of a first-come-first-serve thing, but it did put others at a disadvantage (slower internet connections, other factors, etc). I was under the impression that it would last a while, and if more than one person got everything right, then there'd be some random selection process to find out ~*the one*~.
Or maybe that's just how I would have done it.

Nope, it was always going to be whomever got them all correct first wins. You can have your contest the way you want, this is just how ours went.

I just thought the thing was over so quickly and thats ok cause its someone else's thing but the way it was built up over a long period and made into a big deal on the board it was odd how it was over in a few minutes and disapeared down the board. can't I say that without the person telling me to shut up? oh well nevermind.

we are in synch. Why would anyone bitch about something that was supposed to be light-hearted and completely altruistic on Andre's part? No one in their right mind would even attempt to pull something else like this off again in the future. I mean, fer chrissakes, he donated a part of his business for free.

Exactly. I didn't participate cuz I was asleep in bed during the whole thing.

It was very nice and generous of Andre to offer to do this at all, and it was wonderful of he and Suze to come up with and check the questions - they didn't have to do that...and like I said probably never will again after this

1) Im not preaching anything. Suze stepped in and admonished you all on her own, because you and others were on the attack from my very first post. I think my observation of your hypocrisy is MILD in comparison to the bile you've spewed at me and others.
2) your obvious math deficiencies notwithstanding (this was my one and only dig at you after your digs at me), and in spite of the fact I think you deliberately misunderstood Andre, for Suze's sake, Im happy to comply.
