THE SKINNY: While it's been almost two decades since Stevie Nicks' last official "Best Of" release, on March 27th, fans will get a special treat in the form of CRYSTAL VISIONS ... THE VERY BEST OF STEVIE NICKS, a combo CD/DVD compiling the best tracks from her three decade solo career.

Not to step on the toes of her previous Best Of reissue, this one is heavy on rare live tracks ("Landslide" and "Edge of Seventeen" performed with theMelbourne Symphony Orchestra), duets ("Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" with Tom Petty and "Sorcerer" with Sheryl Crow", plus the original mix of the Fleetwood Mac RUMOURS B-side "Silver Springs."

The DVD includes 13 videos with voice-over commentary from Nicks plus never before seen home video filmed during the making of her 1981 BELLA DONNA.

Featured below is the complete track listing, plus some very special "streaming video" promoting the new release.

Do you know if it is the whole song commentary? Because the same clips posted on the nicksfix that we've seen are only snippets. :wavey:

[estranged4life]

Thanks for the links.

btw, I received an email earlier which included a link to the player which showed the trailer promoting the DVD/CD release.

Whole songs. Have these already been posted? I'm losing track of all this press.

Hey, you live in SF! How come you never get together with us for the shows? Well, you are welcome to, definitely.

[Livia]

OMG! That pic! GORGEOUS doesn't even BEGIN to describe it...I am getting more excited about this release! :blob2:

[Phoenix]

I might even be more excited about the picture than the videos with the commentary. Why didn't I click on this thread when I was still at home? Now I'm at work and I don't have any audio here.

I know. a 20 page booklet. I'm hoping it's full of awesome pics.

[deribish]

The If Anyone Falls Commentary is quite funny -- but the song volume is WAY too loud. You miss a bunch of Stevie's off-the-cuff comments, simply because you can't hear them. I hope they remedy this for the actual DVD.

[danax6]

"That's me looking at my hair."

"And that necklace, what's up with that necklace?"

Upon watching them sit on the horses on the merry-go-round: "And really, what was this?"

"Why is Mick in it?"

Stevie is great. I can't wait to hear her commentary for the rest of the DVD

That pic is from 2/06, when she was in Australia, wasn't it? I remember us thinking that there was a sheep's head near her foot in one of the photos.

Yep, that's the first thing I will look for, when I see a larger version on the photo...well, after I check out that cool laced top!

Same pose, same bed, but it's a different outfit.

[ELIUD]

I love that pic! The black lace up top is underneath the white coat she's wearing in the picture from the magazine. Those boots are cool too. This picture is new enough for me. I'd love to see another one of those pics of her in the red rose duster too.

[michelle2677]

thanks mike. i had a feeling that wasn't the same picture, but I couldn't quite figure it out.

[Sorcerer386]

I really cannot wait to hear the rest of these commentaries. Stevie is seriously cracking me up. The Stand Back flashdance video commentary has to be great.

[ELIUD]

I don't know about that one. She seemed to really hate the Scarlett version that I'm expecting her to be very boastful about the Flashdance version. I wonder what the hell she's going to say about the treadmill shot.

"There I am on the treadmill. It was quite a feat of balance and coordination to not fall over on those heels or get my sleeves caught in the wheels."
