And no, I don't ever suffer from jetlag. Because of my job I sleep the oddest hours anyway, so my body's used to it. Besides, the 9 hours from Amsterdam to Chicago will be spent sleeping, thanks to these lovely pills my doctor prescribed for me.

You lucky duck!!!!! Have you read what happened to Peg & me??? I still can't believe it. But I'm not giving up, where there's life there's hope. Maybe we'll meet in Vegas (would be nice to speak Dutch again for a change).
That's good that you don't have any jetlag. Be careful with those pills tho, you don't want to take too many.
Anyway, if we don't get to go (still praying for a miracle) have fun and stay safe!!! What seats did you get?

Yeah, it's her way of shuffling the few decks of cards she holds on to compulsively. I'll wish she would play with a full deck, so to speak, and realize she has a wealth of other songs she could perform.
Isn't it normal for an performer/artist to change overtime and strive to evolve? I see that in Lindsey, but surprisingly not Stevie. Seemingly, she has devolved into suspended animation. It's evident, with a few exceptions, in her extremely stale and musty set lists.
It wouldn't be so obvious except for the fact that she's been touring heavily on and off since the Say You Will tour ended. And in every single tour, show, appearance...it was always that limited stable of songs shuffled around.
At this latter stage of her career, I'd hope she would want to revisit other areas of her catalog other than the same old common ground. It was great to have her do cover songs. However, rather embassingly, even the casual TV viewers who happened to catch Stevie on TV at various times and years are likely to her perform the same songs. It's like "She's still singing that song!? Does she even have any other songs??"

Complain all you want, folks, it was a magnificent show and worth every penny. I haven't seen Stevie this confident vocally or spirited in a performance in a long time. She looked better than I've seen her before, too - she opened with the boots and a shorter skirt, without that blasted corset that ends square at her hips (although a version of that came out later - it was so low cut, though, that most eyes never made it that far down). She had obviously lost weight since the Superbowl.
But what's more important was her delivery. I was less than impressed with her Superbowl Stand Back, so I was a little nervous about her vocals tonight. I was delighted that they were in top form. She took risks, like going high instead of montone all the time. She got so into her performance that she even did the high kick for Stand Back in her books. She exuded confidence and she seemed to really enjoy herself. I loved it, and it reminded me just why I made a site for her and Lindsey in the first place.
BTW, her changing of the setlist was a vast improvement. Starting with Stand Back amped everything up a notch - got people right into it, right off the bat.
I understand your frustrations - all hardcores, including myself, want all sorts of new and different songs. But Stevie rocked tonight. She is an amazing performer. She is an amazing singer, and she gave it all she got. She delivered, people. I think most of the people who actually attended this show will agree with me.

I am exhausted but wanted to reply quickly. I agree Nancy. Stevie was fantabulous tonight. I dunno, she was just "on". Very happy and animated, which I like.
Interesting adlibs at the end of GDW and BATB was good but not as good as the first Vegas go around. Also, unless I am deaf, I did not hear any type of new intro. It was the old Dreams intro. There are some changes in the footage shown on the screens behind her, too. Landslide had some photos that I have never seen.
There are some pretty awesome new t shirts as well. They do not look like they were made by CN, as they are actually worth buying. I really like one that has the singles on it. Hopefully someone else with more brain cells can describe it better. I. Must. Sleep. Now. :p

I'm thinking it's the violin intro to Gold Dust Woman. At the Hard Rock show in February, the intro was the violin intro the Melbourne Orchestra created.

Glad to hear she was at least daring vocally. Also glad you had fun!

Im sure it was a great show, but this just sucks. Im glad she replaced OTR with INTK. I need to know is such a rocker and im glad its back. I heard she barely changed for this show.

setlist sucks. I went to bed hoping I'd get up and see that something amazing had happened. damnit. well, I surely feel better about not spending $1000 on a trip out there. I've done the Vegas/Stevie show...circa 2005.
glad everyone had a great time and that Stevie was "feelin'" it. that's awesome. and can't wait to see pics and the new merch.

Enchanted
Sorcerer
Fall From Grace
How Still My Love
These are not hits and she could easily switch them out for another non-hit. Lazy :(
Add to that:
INTK
Rock and Roll
Six songs that she could switch out. Instead, she put all the same old same sold songs on little pieces of paper, went to the craps table at Caesar's, put all the pieces of paper in the cup and tossed them out on the table to form a set list.
Then she freaked out and put Edge, Rock and Roll, and BATB back in their rightful place.
Can't believe she finally dumped Enchanted from the opening song but still kept it in the list.
I'm glad I didn't spend the money this time around. Although very glad to hear she put on a great performance.

He plays the same set every night as well  She just tours more than he does. So, I think her unwillingness to change is more apparent.
Nope, he changes at least a couple from leg to leg, even including the occasional audience request that most certainly wasn't rehearsed. Whereas she changes nothing from tour to tour.

I don't understand why Stevie would go to the trouble of changing the songs around but not add in any new songs. What's the point? This is very disappointing although I'm not surprised. I expected nothing new.
Guess we won't be visiting priceline today to get our last minute Vegas plane tickets? ;)

Actually, I wonder what the odds are for a setlist change once the tour w/"Eye-sack" starts?
At least I am not familiar with his setlist order (Both Deb & myself like his music, so she will be in tow with me for the OKC show May 30th) so at worst I wont be nitpicking his performance (I listen to WAY TOO MUCH music by other artists - and yes (!!!) I nitpick their setlists too  )

Well, she has sort of been on The Gold Dust Tour for two years now, though last Summer she took a break and hit the road with Petty, which was splendid.
Again, I think though she will keep most of the hits, she and CI will do some new and cool stuff.
As for Rock and Roll - she may be promoting this as a single

Well, I don't think it's Stevie's desire to change things up that has created this- all of her tours (with the exception of these last solo tours over the last two years) have been backing up some sort of new material. Even Enchanted and Timespace had things that were either new or unreleased/unheard.
Stevie's practice is to pull out the same old warhorses (nothing past 1981 with the exception of "Stand Back") and lightly sprinkle them with one or two new cuts (of which one or two are dropped after the first few shows). I can live with that, I guess. However......
This whole thing is ridiculous. It's like the Malibu Stacy episode of the Simpsons "LOOK!!!! It's Malibu Stacy! And she's got a new HAT!! She is better than ever!!!"
Stevie has officially jumped the shark into Dinosaurland.

No, that's not true. LB has changed his setlist up more that once throughout this tour. Not every show is different, but I'd estimate there have been about 7 or 8 songs that he's put in, changed out, or done at least once. It's usually the encore, but still. He does it.
While I'm not really surprised or upset that La Nicks didn't change anything except the order, I do wish she'd toss in a few "hits" since she's touring to support the new VBO package. I do think there's still some hope that she may, since the "Vegas" setlist seems to always stay the same, even when in the midst of a tour. What I mean is, she always does IAF & HSML in Vegas, but not everywhere else. And she did Circle Dance on the tour in '05, but not in Vegas. It's like Vegas stands alone & is a separate little mini tour for her.

I'm not the most informed about Lindsey's set lists, partly because I try not to memorize them song for song so that I can be ever so slightly surprised at shows, but off the top of my head I know he added Turn It On (previously NEVER played anywhere), Shut Us Down, and Steal Your Heart Away. Plus one spontaneous Bwana by request. And in a radio interview, he played Down On Rodeo all by himself for the first time because the interviewer requested it. And of course there were occasional tunes thrown in every other show at the beginning of the tour but they didn't last.
As for Stevie, I'm not talking about the 80s and neither was everybody else. We're talking about the last 2 or 3 years. Granted, she threw in a couple covers and sang backup to other people. Whoopie.

It's like Vegas stands alone & is a separate little mini tour for her.
You would think that, since she already knows that Vegas is going to consist of people that are just buying the ticket to buy the ticket (like any other Vegas show), she would use Vegas as an opportunity to treat her die hards to something different or fresh. It's criminal. These days, Las Vegas is an entertainment hub that almost everyone in America can get to inexpensively with many different choices of accomodation. It's not like she's in Madison, WI or something and has to worry about pleasing the regional public.
:distress: Stevie loves her casual fans more then us die-hards....
This is the worst part of it. She is alienating her main constituency that keeps her going through the good times and bad- her die-hard fans. I, for one, have had quite enough.
Whoopie.

It's so interesting to read everyone's reactions to ANYTHING Stevie does or dosent do. Lots of peaks and valleys on the board. Everyone can be excited, like say for instance, about the DVD, then she does her Vegas show and is ripped to shreds.
I live in San Francisco and it would be so easy to jump on a plane and get to Vegas, but I'm pretty realistic about my expectations of where Stevie seems to be at the moment,so I stay home and when she plays SF, I will probably go. It wont cost me much, I'll get to enjoy her show, and despite her vocal limitations, I wont rip her and say she cant sing anymore, because she can.Sure, her voice isnt near what it was, but I still get a rush when I hear it live.

curious...do you think, as it is vegas, people are expecting that show? For instance, I don't think Celine or anyone else with a vegas-type show switches it up much...I could be wrong. For now, Stevie is doing the four shows but it is possible she could be considering a recurring show in the future. If I was seeking to hear something different, I suppose I would be disappointed in that. But, I would not be disappointed in her peformance - she is amazing to listen to and watch - no matter the song. IMO.

If Stevie were to ever take up a semi-permanent residency at Caesars, she'd have the budget to really take this show to another level. Bring in some dancers (Rhiannon ballet?), have a much more elaborate set, special effects and costume changes, a la Cher. But would the set list change? Probably not, because it's Vegas - where you're only concern is pleasing the masses, not the diehards.

If she took only TWO of them and switched with INTK, Enchanted, Fall From Grace, How Still My Love, Rock and Roll, Sorcerer, then she would still satisfy the casuals with the hits and would shut the rest of us up in a nanosecond.

Oh, yeah, that would shut everyone up, no doubt. I mean, yeah, she put in two different songs for the previous tour - Circle Dance and Rock'n'Roll - but that doesn't count because they were covers. What we'd all certainly be satisfied with is two new songs of her own.... but they should be newer than 1981 because she has too much Belladonna... well, unless it's songs like Sorcerer or Fall from Grace... those aren't hits and should be dropped... oh wait, hits are for the masses not the hardcores, I forgot, Stevie needs to show us more appreciation... Oh wait, she has to get a new wardrobe too, and then we'd all shut up undoubtedly... unless the outfit is black, because otherwise it doesn't count. Oh wait, she needs to lose weight too, and THEN we'd all shut up.
Forget it.
In the words of the immortal Ricky Nelson, "You can't please everyone, so you gotta please yourself." Apparently she is. People have every right to be disappointed and to express that, but to claim that doing two "new" songs would shut up everyone in a nanosecond... come on!

This is disappointing but expected. I love Stevie and appreciate the fact that she is still on the road singing great and looking great, but I'm afraid even I have reached the limits of my patience with her. I'm afraid I'm going to sit out her upcoming solo dates, although I may attend one of the dates with Eye Sack. :distress: At this point, I think I would rather see Stevie retire once-and-for-all, rather than continue this downward spiral into tedium and obsolescence. Maybe it is time for her to pull a Joni Mitchell: retire from music, do artwork and pursue other causes, and then come back when she is inspired again to write, record and create music simply for the pleasure of creating music. Mama is clearly burned out and is resting on her laurels.
I used to think that if the online fan community could get together and sign a "Dear Stevie" letter outlining our sorrow with her stale setlists and lack of new songs, she would somehow be awoken from her fog and realize that she doesn't have to be a hits jukebox all the time, and that it's okay to try something new and fail sometimes. Now I don't think it would make any difference. Mama is on autopilot because she can get away with it. She doesn't give a sh*t about the audience, other than their ability to buy a ticket. In her own words, "This isn't about art..." :distress:

Just a few added comments from last night. I agree with Nancy and Kelly - her vocals were brilliant and noticeably so. After all these years I finally got to experience the edge walk. She grabbed both of my hands and looked me in the eyes and said thank you. To me? Now that I've experienced it I no longer have the need to sit in the front row. It's too close and sitting amongst the casino freebie crowd was boring.
No need to debate on a sell out. I haven't read every post so not sure if it was mentioned but the entire upper level was empty. I watched as people entered and they had staff upgrading seats to those seated in a section other than the lowest level. I guess blah would be the best description of the crowd as a whole. It was so different from the first time she was at Ceasar's. There were the usual fans but for the most part I think the crowd was made up of people just wanting to see a show and not caring who it was.
In a way I got excited when Stand Back was first because I was sure she would have added new songs to the setlist. Even though she didn't, it was a great show and I'll still go see her on this summer's tour. The security guard told me before Edge that the order of the setlist had changed from the printed copy they were given.
As for the t-shirts. great if you were a lady but the only men's shirt that I saw was the Dreams Vegas shirt with the new dates. And no tourbooks - just Teddy bears

New Intro ("Earache My Eye"-Alice Bowie)
Stand Back (Same ol setlist alert)
Goldust Vegas Casino Woman
If Anyone Falls for Me Changing Up the Setlist
Stop Dragging this Song Around In a Different Key
Dreams of a Different Setlist Nightly
Enchanted with the Same ol' Same ol'
Rhiannon (Birds of a Feather Flock Together)
I Need to Know If I Can Do a Different Song
Landslide of the Apparent Hits
Sorcerer Make those Ledgies Gimme their $$$$
Fall From Originality
How Still My Love for the same ol' Setlist
Edge of Seventeen Songs Played on tour since 1983
-------------------------------
(Encore break to change Depends and count how much $$$ I made from the Vegas rubes)
Rock and Roll (Led Zep My Band Aint)
Beauty and the Tired ol' Beast
There, mission accomplished - Yet another thread killed

I don't want to wish anything ill upon Mama, but the fact that she is not selling out such a small theatre is telling. Mama brought this on herself- this is what she gets for not keeping things fresh for her audience- either by changing the set list or releasing new material. I hope it does make her a little bit concerned. I hope this sends home the message that she can't expect people to keep paying to see the same tired sh*t over and over again, especially when tickets cost $160 a pop. Money talks, as the old saying goes...

Ever since Stevie resurrected SDMHA back in Vegas 2005, she has been singing it in a much lower key. I believe she lowered it by a two whole steps, or even a third- but, I'll have to check on my piano later at home.
How can you resurrect something that never went away?
I believe the key was dropped starting way back on the TISL tour in 2001.

I'm with you here!! Same songs, same outfits, same videos do not generate excitement and they certaintly don't generate revenue. That's just plain business sense. I never thought Stevie would be an entertainer who would "rest on her laurels" but...I believe it has happened. I do like the new order of the songs but that's not going to be enough to sell out venues.

In my opinion, she's never sung SDMHA in the key it was recorded in. Even the Bella Donna concert from HBO showed her singing it at a lower register. I've never like the song live except when I saw her sing it with Tom on his latest tour.
As for Stand Back as an opener, I'm okay with that, that's actually one of the songs I'm most tired of hearing. I'm all for using it to excite everyone at the end and get it the hell over with.

This happened to me also at the Houston TISL show, except person after person I passed while trekking back to the car was bitching that she hadn't performed Silver Springs (after all the pre- and post-Dance drama concerning the song).
I'm hoping the Dreams show and the tour will be two separate entities. Especially when Eye Sack climbs aboard.

Enchanted tour was in the original key. However, starting with the first "Baby, you could never look me...." part- she was trying to hit the note and couldn't and then backed off it completely (Sharon was singing the same part behind her).
TISL and Vegas and Tom Petty, etc. ....... the key for the song was dropped a full third- three whole tones- down. Yeah, I remember the first time I heard it at the Universal Amphitheatre in SoCal and it was shocking.

Sure, Stevie sounds "great" on the same old songs that she performs time after time, but why else wouldn't she sing her other hits that we all love and adore, other then for the fact that she can't hit the notes (hence, girl can't sing anymore). It's not like she's desperately hiding the fact that her voice has changed over the years. All she has to do is open her mouth, and anyone who isn't completely deaf can hear that.
Hell, by that logic, she'd be better off sticking only to songs she's recorded over the past 15 years, since they're already in her lower register and the difference between the live performance and the studio recording wouldn't be so noticeable.
Here's a question for everyone... since the point was made about how low she sings "Stop Draggin'" now... would you rather she sing your favorite rarely-played/never-before-played song in a markedly lower key or not at all?
That's not asked in a snarky way, it's an honest question.
For example, if she sings "Storms" but has to lower it to a range that's not as demanding on her voice night after night, would it still be cool to hear, or would it diminish enjoyment of the song? How about "I Can't Wait" slowed down a little and sung deeper?

There are songs that she can still sing in the original key. Beautiful Child and BATB are two examples. I think she could still pull off Storms in the original key. There are a whole list of them. She could still sing Bella Donna, Angel and pretty much anything from Street Angel. We can pretty much forget about hearing anything from Rock A Little with the exception of HAEWAFY. I think she can sing way higher than she does now, but she thinks she cannot sustain it. Maybe she can't - who knows. All I know is Circle Dance, R&R, and the stunning BC were all way higher than where sings some of the others. So, she can do it.

She doesn't lower the key of hardly anything she does. She just changes the melody by lowering it quite a bit. I know Landslide has been lowered a whole lot and Beautiful Child was one half step down (funny that gldstwmn cited it as one that's in the original key). In fact, I am shocked that she doesn't lower everything even a half step because it would help her immensely. So I think she is worried about lowering keys, probably wanting to preserve the music the way it was and should be.

"Landslide" is still played in its original key of E flat. On the Tusk tour, she raised the key to G, because her voice was so thrashed she couldn't hit the low notes.

"Beautiful Child" was played live in its original key of C.

Changing keys isn't as easy as it sounds (no pun intended). Changing keys to odd intervals can make the song sound completely different, even if it's just a half step. Oddly enough, changing the key of a song by a half step in a lot of cases drastically alters the way the song "sounds".
I think that artists should always avoid changing keys, unless it is for a complete change of the artistic landscape of the song (like when Joni Mitchell reworked her tunes for an orchestra). If one is just changing the key because they can't (or don't want to) sing the higher (or lower) notes, then don't bother.

Ya got me there. I don't actually own the white album, so I was going by old (probably tusk tour!) bootlegs I had heard that were much higher, assuming that was the original key.
"Beautiful Child" was played live in its original key of C.
Incorrect! For all I know she may have done in in C at some point, but on Live in Boston and with the orchestra it was a half step down. Lindsey was playing a guitar that was tuned down, so he was playing what looked like a C chord, but he was fooling you!

Hence my "preserving the music the way it was and should be" comment. Though it's not at all hard to do, it just makes it sound different. Anybody can push the transpose button on a keyboard or tune the guitar down. And since you didn't even notice that Beautiful Child was tuned down, it goes to show it can be done quite successfully!

I always hated having to transpose a key where it required tuning down my guitar strings (much prefer capoing).

I suspect that much of the SYW setlist was played a half-step lower. "The Chain" tuning is E-flat (instead of E), so I would imagine that much of the rest of the set was lowered accordingly. However, oddly enough, on the last leg of the tour "Say You Will" was bumped up by at least a whole step, as was "Destiny Rules" on the first leg. Surprisingly, one of the hardest songs to sing, "Don't Stop," was not lowered in key; however, Stevie does take the lower harmony on the "yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone" part of the chorus.
Anyway, after looking at the tour dates, 19 shows in 31 days, I would say this is the most hectic solo touring schedule that Mama has ever been on. And there is that three-nights-in-a-row stretch toward the end. This leads me to believe that Mama will be holding back a lot more than usual just so that she will have a voice for the next night and the night after that, etc.

She's got her howl back in full swing, for that and GDW, which delighted the audience.
Gold Dust Woman and Dreams switched places in the setlist. I think it worked well. Dreams is the Mac's biggest hit and, while GDW is also famous, it takes it a bit longer to pick up speed. Having Dreams second after Stand Back keeps the energy up for longer.

Not sure about last night but Tuesday's was not as long as the regular Standback intro when it's later in the set. And she does it without her shawl. But she did her twirls with her boots on.
And another added observation from Tuesday. The Stevie look alikes are getting too old to dress like Stevie. WAY TOO OLD! And to the lady Tuesday night with the flowing skirt just like Stevie's... I don't think the back is supposed to be tucked in to your pantyhose showing your ass to everyone behind you. Just a suggestion

And to the lady Tuesday night with the flowing skirt just like Stevie's... I don't think the back is supposed to be tucked in to your pantyhose showing your ass to everyone behind you. Just a suggestion

Aww, sad. But, haven't you ever seen an old gypsy?

Well, I'll be brave and go ahead and say that the show last night was also great, although I think it wasn't quite as good as Tuesday night vocally. She did dance more, though - a couple additional kicks. She did a very sexy, extended sway/dance during How Still My Love, and I thought Edge of Seventeen last night was even better than the night before.
Of course she changed them. I knew she couldn't do too many shows without Dreams being the second song.
I keed, I keed! Glad you guys are having a good time. Did you go to the breakfast buffet at Paris again? *swoon*

Along with everything else, that she's hairy?
OMG - that even grossed me out

There are songs that she can still sing in the original key. Beautiful Child and BATB are two examples.
She doesn't lower the key of hardly anything she does. She just changes the melody by lowering it quite a bit.
So I think she is worried about lowering keys, probably wanting to preserve the music the way it was and should be.
"Landslide" is still played in its original key of E flat.
"Beautiful Child" was played live in its original key of C.
Changing keys isn't as easy as it sounds (no pun intended). Changing keys to odd intervals can make the song sound completely different, even if it's just a half step. Thanks for the answers, everyone. I have only the SLIGHTEST bit of basic "textbook" musical knowledge. I could never tell you what key a song is in, or in what range someone sings. Much to my chagrin.
I guess the changes I hear are, like Little Nicki said, in the lowering of the melody as opposed to the key.
Yes, I would rather she sing rarely/never played songs even if she has to totally rework them or even if she butchers them.I can understand wanting her to sing different songs even if she has to rework them... it would be fun to hear some of the songs in different arrangements... but the "even if she butchers them" line of thought surprises me.
I mean, is it really better to hear something you've never heard live before, even if it sounds God awful? I just can't imagine that being satisfying in any way.
"Woo-hoo!!! She sang 'Julia'!!! It sounded like Roseanne Barr taking a hard ****, but at least she sang it!!! I'm gonna buy a ticket to tomorrow night's show, too!" ;) ;)

[QUOTE=HejiraNYC;667524]I will never forget one of the TISL shows I went to and many people were horrified and upset that Landslide was not in the set. A few of them were cursing her. I was elated because it meant room for one more TISL song. I was clearly in the minority.
Forgive me, but people like this are retarded idiots! Granted, we (rightly) bitch and moan over stale set lists (that's another story), but I don't understand why people feel so short-changed. So they go a concert of an artist they presumbably love/like...and then get angry when their favorite song isn't performed? What the fuk? It's one thing to be dissapointed but to get angry is...stupidity.
From experience, I know that if you go to a concert with no expectations you'll usually enjoy yourself. Conversely, go to concert with your own personal hopes, wishes, expectations, and you'll go home disappointed. What happened to the concept of enjoying the show for what it is, rather than what you hope it will be? Thankfully, in some regards, I'm glad for the impending death of hit radio. Without the expectations and constraints of performing mostly songs labeled as "hits," hopefully bands will simply feel free to perform any songs that they deem as "good."

Not sure about last night but Tuesday's was not as long as the regular Standback intro when it's later in the set. And she does it without her shawl. But she did her twirls with her boots on.

:distress: Stevie loves her casual fans more then us die-hards AND girl can't sing anymore. Why else would she not change her setlist? Plus, she probably thinks, these fools keep paying the big bucks for the same setlist, so why should I change it?

I totally agree!!!

Of course Stevie can still sing. Her voice is different and she's reworked her songs accordingly. I'd rather she hit the new notes than screetch the old ones off-key like Jana does.
Anyway, I went to Vegas with no expectations of anything different, so the setlist switch up was a pleasant surprise. The violin intro to Gold Dust Woman was gorgeous. I'm still appreciating the "Baby baby baby you can save me now." If Anyone Falls is still basically new to me. Hell, it's even possible for me to appreciate Sorcerer.
The energy level, the boots, the high kicks, the very sexy How Still My Love, all reminded me of why I love will always love Stevie. When she is on, she is ON, and there is no one like her. It's easy to see why people would be disappointed that there aren't new songs. It's harder to convey the joy of actually being in her presence when she is smiling, feeling good, moving and downright enjoying herself. Tuesday was that experience for me. I hope that everyone who is disappointed, disgusted, disgruntled gets to experience the same kind of renewal of Stevie-love that I did. I think that being a fan now means appreciating who Stevie is NOW.
To answer a few random questions that I think haven't been addressed yet:
--Scott Plunkett is filling in for Brett
--Yes, we did go to Paris for the breakfast buffet. It was still good, but not as fabulous as I remember
--and NO ONE pissed in Nancy's cheerios, as I actually witnessed what she'd had for breakfast that day. Not a toasted oat morsel on the menu.

No one can define what it means to be a fan and no one can set the standard for others. I can legitimately call myself a Stevie fan and be completely turned off by her set list and her current lack of originality and creativity.
That said...it's great that she was in fine form and that you enjoyed the show. I thoroughly enjoyed her in December even though the setlist sucked. So I 'get it'....

Yeah, that's really cool, I'm sorry I'm missing it. In my head, in theory, I get "disappointed" with her setlists, but then when I'm there in front of her I'm always excited out of my mind, and enthralled, and in love. Except during Dreams/OTR. So I'll always go see Miss Thing if I can.

Sorry, though, Curtie, since you like it. :xoxo: Hey, Curtie, you should see if Storm is playing by you in Canada. She said she's going up there, now. She is so good you will die.
