You missed the option that fits best with Deanna which is - once in a while.

I don't do it often at all but once in a great while it pops up. It's annoying.

Amber thinks that's hella lame. But it has a certain just-to-be-funny allure.

Well do you? Sharon wants to know.I have on here a few times, with tongue planted firmly in cheek... but, unless I'm doing it in humour, then absolutely not.

nevah. unless i'm calling myself "homegirl," as in "homegirl don't play like that," which would be a good response to this thread.

:D

I have to say I never actually refer to myself in the third person (although I'm going to start to) but it's cracking me up to see you all do it :D

carrie thinks that anyone who refers to him/herself in the third person sounds like gollum, oh yes she does.

I've been thinking about doing it ever since I saw that Grey's Anatomy episode where they kept doing it. It's laaaaame, but funny.

Do it. DO IT!!! It will be a fun real life experiment to watch people's faces. Your friends will probably get the joke, but who knows about strangers?

Jannie doesn't do it, but gets very irritated when mothers do it when talking to their young children. Like, "mommy loves you!".

Hm, one might consider trying it.. one thinks one sounds a bit like her Majesty the Queen though, not like a rapper.
