really? head scratching isn't really required. just curiosity.

it's all in fun. it's not meant to be overtly gross or in bad taste. if it's too personal, don't respond or participate.

LOL I came in before everyone else had responded, then came back and I SWEAR i was going to put "this needs to be a poll" and I'll be damned...

anyway...back on topic

erm....

usually nicely trimmed unless I need it to be otherwise  we'll leave it at that. then it will be landing strip.

I've never gone completely bare

its just an ODD topic.......unless you ask Theresa (or is it Teresa?) (Bikerchick)
who actually asked us Ledgies if we recommended she get a Brazilian wax for her hubby that one time....)

edited to add: there are certain, shall we say, ADVANTAGES to being as smooth as a baby's bottom..........Nuff Said.

I go completely bare once a month - just seems more hygenic during "that time." The rest of the time I just trim. I don't have anyone to impress anyway.

And I do it myself with a razor. Ain't lettin' some stranger spread wax all over my nether regions.

Okay - this thread reminds me of this guy I knew years ago who walked up to me at a birthday party and says "I just had the sun tatooed around my a$$hole" -- not one to be phased by that, I replied "if you shave half of you a## hair, does the sun have goatee"

Uhh...is this a thread about pubic hair?

I don't shave any of the hair below my face. I think it's creepy when guys do that; unless you're an athlete or something. There are these guys at work that are twin brothers, who apparently go completely hairless. I joked to another co-worker that they must shave each other's asses.

I don't give a shix about sex n the city, don't think it is that funny, but I'll post anyways.

I keep it all shaved and trimmed, but if I had money, I'd be like Chris - get it lasered. Or, at least regular waxes into a landing strip. Luckily, my hair isn't Italian, I don't have The Black Forest growing all down my legs and shizz. *shudder*.
I might also get it dyed and stuff, blond hair looks ever so much better down there. Maybe if I took that good of care of it I'd work harder at getting more visitors to my "house".

  Yeah, I suspect I'd never be able to put myself through that much pain, I'd have to pay a professional so as to go through with it. The razor isn't as...uh...thorough or long lasting as I'd like it to be. However, your words have reminded me what a huge wuss I am...I imagine I'd be an even bigger puss wuss.

Many people have to go through several laser treatments, or even periodic treatments indefinitely.

And I believe it was the context of the thread at the time that elicited a strike. Not as much the subject matter. Not positive, but I think so.

Sounds like when I had my nipples pierced. Thank goodness I have such "even" OCD I had to get the other side done. There was a serious debate in my head, though.

and I know...it was very smooth and lasted a pretty long time. no razor burn/bumps. But worth it for just me to sit and look and go "oooh..ah??" hell no!! ahah...but i agree-I believe most of the trauma came from me doing it myself.

 good point. I'm going to wait until someone is regularly visiting, I think. Or at least I am swimming a lot. My boyfriends are never very "metro", though, and don't care. They are usually manly and grubby and smoke cigarrettes. lol.

LOL and PROUD of it!!! and there is NO way in hell I would get my nipples pierced :distress: not because I see anything wrong with it. I dont' like people touching/sucking/rubbing/fondling them..let alone, jabbing a sharp object through them  that was probably tmi...hahah

Really, though, I don't judge people by what they wear, I don't care about labels or designer clothes, I don't hate someone because they're not wearing what I think they should. But I still want to look good, and in style, and dress in a way that flatters my figure. And I can't help but think "wtf?" when I see someone wearing something that obviously does not flatter them at all, or wearing something totally unprofessional/inappropriate at their job. Too many people buy a shirt because they like the shirt, not how it looks on them.

That's why I love What Not To Wear - they really do help people with their self-image. Oh, and it's pointed out a few mistakes to me that I wasn't even aware I was making. Of course, that's not to say that I always agree with them. Anyone see that way-too-short-at-her-age skirt Stacy was sporting a few shows ago? I only noticed because she has reeeeaaallllly unattractive knees. I'm sure the ratings would be through the roof.

And I don't think I've ever noticed anyone's knees before.
It sounds logical when you say that, but I recall some serious giggling at camo shorts boy when he walked by. :D Member that guy in the Cirque de Soleil that we saw at the bar? I thought you guys were going to vomit. *wipes tears*

I actually just don't notice much. Or maybe I'm so used to it, here. A looooot of people wear things that aren't flattering to them. Large black ladies seem to be the worst perps, but definitely not the only ones. But also lots of people here have really great style as well.

I think that show is good, too, I've only seen it once, or commercials for it, or something, but I was really suprised at what the people were wearing before they got made over. Just ugly baggy icky stuff, with bad patterns. Like, stuff I don't even see around here.
But yeah, it's great when someone learns to dress better and it makes them more confident.
