Yeah, I love how they're pre-advertising what her setlist will be. Classic expectation management.
Anyway - I would rather she just talked to Ellen for 45 mins and skip singing altogether. Yeah, I said it!

Not that I'm complaining, but I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with all this Stevie activity! Figuring out which concerts to go to, all these videos and photos being posted, interviews, trying to keep up with the changing song list on the CD....I feel like I need to take a sabbatical from work and just focus on Stevie 24/7.

I'm totally jazzed about the appearance on CBS Sunday Morning. Their interviews are excellent and alway feature in-depth video of the artist and they're not stingy on air-time!!! I love all their reporters too!
Ellen is a big surprise to me because I never thought she liked Stevie much. She seems to go for the disco ladies with all the same style and voice. Plus there were no backstage images of Stevie huggin on Ellen when she hosted the DIVAS special. Just Stevie and Cher. But very cool pics of Stevie and Cher.
And the Today Show? They practically have her on speed-dial by now.
Yes it's time for a new Letterman appearance. She is his ex-wife after all.

Stevie Nicks Keeps At It
One Of Rock's Most Famous Women Is Releasing An Album And Continuing To Perform
(CBS) Stevie Nicks is one of the most respected and revered women in rock. As both a member of Fleetwood Mac and a solo artist, she is responsible for some of the most enduring songs of the last few decades.
Next week, the 58-year-old singer is releasing a retrospective album called "Crystal Visions … The Very Best of Stevie Nicks." She says can barely believe she has been in the music game this long.
"The fact that I've been able to still be here after all this time is — it blows my mind, and it makes me really think what a great audience I have because they've really stayed with me," she told Sunday Morning correspondent Rita Braver.
The album's title comes from how she sees many of her songs. They are her memories, she said.
"My memories then are my crystal visions because my songs — I always — think that my songs are from little visions," she said. "They are little visions that I dream up. And crystal — you know, crystal — looking through a crystal glass or a piece of crystal or a diamond or something."
Nicks was born in Phoenix and began seriously pursuing her music career in high school, when she met future long-time companion Lindsey Buckingham. After working as a duo, the two joined Fleetwood Mac, an already-established band. With the help of "Rhiannon," a song that featured Nicks' haunting vocals, the band reached new heights with its 1975 self-titled album.
Nicks has endured trouble with love and addiction and at one point vowed never to perform again. But she couldn't stay away from the stage, and is now embarking on another tour.
"For me, I will continue to do this for a long time," she said. "What else would I do, pretty much? This is what I love."
Learn more about Stevie Nicks on Sunday Morning at 9 a.m. ET.

ET.

In Dallas, we only get 90 minutes. It airs from 8-9:30 am. Is there really an extra half-hour aired elsewhere?

Your Sunday-morning choices: Stevie Nicks and a lot of politicians.
Nicks, who is 58, discusses her career on "CBS News Sunday Morning" at 9 a.m. on WKMG-Channel 6. Nicks talks about her songs, her relationship with Lindsey Buckingham and life with Fleetwood Mac.
And Nicks says that despite all the heartaches of life in a band, she prefers being in a group to having a solo act. "I loved being in a band. I never wanted to be a solo star." Nicks adds, "That wasn't for me."

I got a call from the Ellen show today offering me 2 tickets to this Thursday's (April 12) taping. Originally when it was announced Stevie was going to be on Ellen it listed her appearance as April 18th. I checked Ellen's website and it said the taping of the 12th would air on the 18th. So, I applied for tickets not thinking I would have a chance in hell. Somewhere, I read that she would now be on Ellen on the 23rd but nicksfix (I know!) still lists the 18th. Confused yet, I am. Anyway, I asked the girl that called from the Ellen show and she couldn't tell me who would be on that day. Not sure about taking off work and driving the 3+ hours with standby tickets to possibly get in or sit in the riff raff room especially not knowing if Stevie was indeed the guest. Anyone know the taping or actual air date?

Ellen's site does a good job of profiling upcoming guests, so I'm sure their schedule will be updated soon.
