I voted pre-Grease. Simply because Please Mr. Please and I Honestly Love You are perfection.

This is funny because I just went to iTunes last week looking for some country Olivia tunes. I specifically wante to buy "If You Love Me Let Me Know" and "Have You Never Been Mellow". But neither was available there. Only the Grease and later tunes showed up. I had to settle for Bonnie Tyler and Juice Newton.

I think Soul Kiss was underrated..
However there's something Olivia changed during 1979-late 80s and then she got back to the original.. her name. She always was Olivia Newton John in her albums. After Grease, I mean since Totally Hot, she signed her albums just as OLIVIA. Then in early 90s she releases a GHits "Back to Basics" where she again signed as Olivia Newton John. Hummm...
And yes, Please Mr. Please RULES.

I had to bust out my Olivia cd on the way to work this morning, as this thread got me thinking about the ol' girl. PMP and Don't Stop Believing were played several times before I strolled into work

I picked the mature years. If for no other reason than it is the culmination of all the other years. And it is these years that have made Olivia what she is today. She is a survivor. She can still sing like no one else and she's still totally hot!
Incidentally, when CD's were introduced in the mid-80's, Physical was the first CD I ever bought. All the videos she made from this album are, to me, priceless.

Wow Olivia is my alltime fave. Sorry Stevie. her country tunes were the best .Like Have You Never Been Mellow, Please Mr Please, If You Love Me Let Me Know ,Don't Stop Believin',Let Me Be There,Take Me Home Country Roads. The Air That I Breathe .I think Nashville Told her to get lost back in those days, she was a outsider. Now Aussie's are more then welcome in Nashville.I though grease was nice, She's a excellent actress in that movie ,awesome movie soundtrack. Xanadu was a good movie . I think the critics killed it. That had a awesome soundtrack with ELO too. I was alittle upset when she change to rock in the 80's with Physical came out. but It wore in on me..I seen her live a couple of times, awesome concerts.
