Ok here goes
Two years ago my sister and brother in law gave me and my twin brother a shared Christmas gift which was their old computer. The problem was that Mark, my brother in law had set himself up as an Administrator which limited both me and my brother’s access to the computer. We could download programs but we couldn't install them as we did not have administrator privileges.
Somehow my brother managed to make it that he is now the administrator of the computer and now my access is even more limited then before. His knowledge of computers is not that good which makes me wonder how he figured it out in the first place. What I want to know is how I can fix it so that I have administrative privileges as well.
The computer is set up so that we each have our own log in.
Another problem I am having is that in order to install programs he keeps deleting some of my Mp3's to free up space. How can he do that if he is not logged on under my name? Is there some way to view another person’s files and such without being logged on under their name?
Hopefully this doesn't sound too confusing
