So, my band is trying to come up with a website, and we can't figure out how to get the song on the c.d to be an mp3 filr on windows media... It's weird because all the songs that are downloaded here from sendspace or whatever turn out as mp3's but when we tried that for "Carrie" it was a wma or whatever. Anyone have any tips????

Take Care,
Ethan

Go to http://www.download.com and search for a WMA to MP3 converter. There are hundreds to choose from...

There's an option in Windows Media Player that allows you to rip to mp3 from the cd. Go to - file - tools - options, and click on "rip music".

There is a program called Exact Audio Copy (EAC) that is entirely too wonderful for words. It will do everything you need and some stuff you never thought of. And it is free. The link is here (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/).
