^ It had better be. I don't want to waste my vote on something trivial.
I love cheese. I could give up cake or cheesecake for the rest of my life. But cheese? NEVER!

My god, that was important! Thanks, trackles.
I might as well throw an editorial here - I don't get all the big shlemiel with cheesecake. It's not that good. It's pretty good, but...I like both cake and cheese better.

It's better than that, it's important!
I chose cheese because the others I could give up but cheese is just too important to me.

Me, too! I could give up meat(maybe?), as long as I still had cheese. I just had some Hot Pepper Cheese.
And this damned poll BETTER be OFFICIAL!!!!! I only answer OFFICIAL polls!

Well you know me guys, I could never post anything trivial and non-important (see my tree thread for proof).
And I agree Paula, I love cheese way too much. The others are good but cheese is better.

No contest: Cheesecake!
Though I was ruined in New York City and have not been able to find a truly truly delicious cheesecake elsewhere.

omg cheesecake for the win plz.
I hate cream cheese. I can only dig certain types of cheese (ie Colby/Colby Jack & Swiss thx). And I dig cake, sure.
But damn if cheesecake doesn't make me forget all of that. <3

Cake, cake and more cake!
I couldn't have said it better myself. And the second thing I would have said was "cheese, cheese, and more cheese!". Again, after cake. German Chocolate Cake, preferably, but most cakes will do. Obviously I eat cheese much more often, but that doesn't make it more special, necessarily. :woohoo:
Also, shout out to GypsySorcerer, the only other person I've ever heard say that they don't like cheesecake. I kinda like it now, but not as a favorite, and I didn't like it for so long. I still don't see what the big deal is.

I'll eat ANY cheese. Cheese is my big problem. (see chiliD's post:laugh: )
But dutch cheeses are my faves. Especially the old ones. The older the better. Dutch farmercheese. OLD. wow.

Sometimes even the smell of cheese makes me feel ill. I was sick for days after eating some motzerella (sp?) a few weeks ago. I don't like cheese on anything but crackers or on its own. Bree is about is extravagent as I can handle

that sucks. we have gherkins, but they're a specific kind of pickle. they're mini-pickles, i think. i don't eat pickles, though, they're too sour. is it the vinegar that gives you migraines?

Yeah, we actually don't have the big pickles like you guys have over there
I think it must be the vinegar - it seems to be anything with that sort of taste/flavour that gives me migraines :( Although there doesn't seem to be a day that goes by where I don't have a headache anyway, so I may as well eat them...

and here i thought that cheese was the one thing the people of the world had in common.

hmmm. when the new law goes into effect, you'll have to ask the g-men about that one, baby, it ain't my call.
Cheese. Any kind of cheese. Blue cheese, cream cheese, goat cheese, French cheeses, Dutch cheeses, British cheeses... yum.
btw, you can compare cheesecake to the Dutch kwarktaart, I'm sure you've had thát, Vanessa ;)
Someone should choose cake, then the graph looks beautiful again: 11,13,15 votes. Like a layered cake, really.

I frikkin' love pickles. Dill only, though, not a fan of sweet.
A you a Sharp Cheese gal???
If it's cooked with something (mac & cheese, on a burger) it's fine. But if I'm eating plain cheese, I do not like sharp cheeses - cheddar or Swiss in particular. I do love feta cheese, though, which can tend to be pretty sharp. But generally, I like milder cheeses.
Don't make me (or Sharon) start a cheese preference thread. :wavey:
As much as I love cake, especially cheesecake, I couldn't function as a human being without cheese. I love it all. I always keep fine French cheeses in my fridge but on the flip side, I just love that liquid, nuclear cheese they put on nachos.
