Gosh, I'm shocked.
Cool she came out, the more famous/respected people that do it, the easier it is for everyone.

So am I  The first time I saw her (2 years ago) I asked Peg:"Is she gay?" and she said:"She is, but nobody knows".
Good for her she came out.

I love Suzie Orman. She rocks. She has a great knack for explaining financial stuff clearly, for people like me who just don't get it. And it's fun when she yells at people & tells it like it is. "What do you mean, you didn't think you'd have to pay back your debt?!" "Why the helll would you want to spend $50,000 on your wedding?!" "Listen - if you make $6 an hour, you should NOT go to Vegas every year!" :p

I don't care which way she swings, but can I just say? I hate that hairstyle she's got. It would be fine if it had some more texture, but the front just looks like a helmet.

On Larry King Live a couple of nights ago, she claimed to have never been in the closet to begin with, and that the only reason this has come up is that somebody in the media finally asked her bluntly and she answered truthfully.
But then again... I do catch her show on CNBC from time to time, and my goodness, was she hitting on her (male) producer constantly. I guess it's sort of like Rosie's "crush" on Tom Cruise years ago.

She is very flirty, that's why I was a tiny bit surprised. Not shocked, mind you. ;) But yeah, it's not like she was hiding the fact. What was she supposed to do, bill herself as a "lesbian financial expert"?

We'll make her an outfielder. She's got the legs to run for the ball.

Well, I happen to think that lesbians in general are very shrewd in financial matters, whereas gay men tend to be a bit flaky. Just my own anecdotal observations.
In any case, since she does talk a lot about herself on her show, I think it has been rather glaring that she has never mentioned the "other half" in her life. I suspect now that she is out of the closet she will be all "my partner this, my partner that, my partner and I, etc." Just look at Rosie- you can't get her to shut her trap about her partner.

A Gold Star is a homo who has never had hetero sex.
I think the phrase is of lesbian origin.

 - sorry...can't help it. as if there was ever any doubt, you know.
the one thing that I always think about Suze is the fact that, like Stevie, she loves that damn necklace she wears. that gold one...she always has it on. and it looks way too tight on her neck. she reminds me of a lesbian couple that used to own and operate a video store/tanning salon. they were the kind of bitches you respected, but not quite sure why.

Thank you. I've got to say, I admire/respect (not sure what adjective I'm searching for here) who has never had hetero sex. That's a woman of conviction. It's probably a part of her personality that makes her so successful.

She's a badass and I am very pleased she came out! In hindsight I can't believe I didn't see it. I went to a book signing of hers and she is really stunning in person, 2D just doesn't do her any justice.
