need good thoughts

I'm just copying this from my eljay as I'm out the door to the hospital.

my mom called me today and said that she and my dad and my grandmother were coming to the hospital re: my grandmother's heart. I kept asking, what do you mean...and she wouldn't really tell me much. so now I'm freaking out. they should be here by now so I guess I'm off to see what's up. this is the matriarch. the queen of hearts. the woman that sat me in front of the record player and made me listen to Conway Twitty, Al Green, Loretta Lynn, Wendy Bagwell, Tammy Wynette and so many more. the woman that gave me every bit of musical talent and desire for performance that I have. I can not lose her or lose any part of her right now. I need her now. the thought of it is too much to bear and this...just a couple of days before the Boston event. I will and am now dedicated all that I have to my grandmother on Saturday night. especially one song in particular. this is for Bib. I love you.

- and just as a sidenote I was finally able to watch the promo for Stevie's CV album...and like so many others, it brought me close to tears. and gave me strength at the same time. bless you Stevie.

thanks guys! I really appreciate it. I'm exhausted. I was at the hospital until about 11 and then had to go home and work on stuff for Boston. I did not want to get up this morning. my grandmother was feeling good last night and we actually had a nice visit. this morning their doing a stress test and something else and then we'll know more. thanks so much again.

I just got back from the hospital and she's doing really well still. everything is going great as of now. they are doing some stuff in the morning and will know more tomorrow afternoon. the doc said it may be something he can fix/manage with meds or may have to put in a stint. they don't know the extent just yet, but it's looking to be ok.

I'm finishing what I gotta do so I can get in the bed and be prepared for rockin Boston.

Well, yeah, kinda. I've lost three, one white and yellow, one green red and orange, and the other all shades of blue. I think we've got it covered.

while I was in Boston they decided that they have to do bypass surgery. it's scheduled for 6 am tomorrow. I know it's serious surgery and I'm so worried. and exhausted from the trip to Boston. I went straight to the hospital from the airport and am just now geting home. please continue the prayers. thanks so much everyone.

a quick update: I'm at the hospital now. it's been a long, long week. things were looking up and then Friday was a series of unfortunate events, but luckily, nothing that they say is out of the ordinary. the main concern now is slowing her heartrate and getting her H and H levels up (I have no idea what H an H stands for). she's having a blood transfusion now and they say that will make her feel much better once that runs through. she's also getting a drip to slow her heartrate. now, they say she may go home Monday or Tuesday. that will begin a whole new series of battles. please just keep my family in your thoughts. and thank you all for all the well wishes and sweet words.
