I love a good cry but sometimes I wish I could reign it in a little! Slightly embarassing to be bawling whilst watching Charlotte's Web at the cinema with my kids!

It's been a while since I've cried over something in my life - but just last weekend I was bawling like a baby while watching the end of Sex and the City (again)
So I do cry at movies and such - but I haven't cried due to something in my life in months.

I sometimes wish I didn't cry so easily. Movies and TV shows always make me cry... whether they are happy or sad. I've actually sobbed watching films before now!
I cried a lot with all the stuff going on with my hubby recently. And that annoyed me too. A lot of the time they were angry tears and I didn't want them to mistaken for sad tears.

God. Are you an angry crier too? I HATE that. I am an angry crier - and I hate when it gets the better or me and people think it's sad/feel sorry for me tears when really they are tears of anger and frustration.
I've gotten somewhat better with the angry crying - but I've always hated that it happens.

I think that can be good though - you let your emotions out straight away. I let them fester until I explode

I haven't cried in years. I think the last thing that really touched me emotionally was watching Titanic.....I'm not kidding.

The one with the dogs at the pound? Where the narrator says "I know how to sit....etc... but I don't know why I'm here"? If that's the one, it kills me every time. I guess that's the point though. :(

Me too. I hate that commercial.....gets me every time(that whitish bigger dog, peeping thru the cage!). I don't usually cry.....hardly ever. But, since my dog died two months ago, I cry probably 5 times a week. I lost my best friend in this world.

agreed. it doesn't make me cry, but it makes me really sad. such poor dogs... :distress:
I don't think I have any set thing... sometimes I can go weeks without crying, sometimes I cry like 6 times in a week. Depends on my moods.

I still want to see it! I'm drawn like a moth to the flame....It's just a bunch of sad looking dogs, sitting in cages, pondering..."what am I doing here?". It's MEGA sad.

^^^ and why does no one love me? I'm a good boy with a lot of love to give so why do i not have a home? **** man. Im starting to cry NOW thinking about it. The other day someone called the humane society for a stray dog. Come to find out, its owners let it loose cuz they didnt want it anymore  in 10 degree weather.

OK, the last time I cried was just now when I read your post. I'm so sorry about your dog. It really is like losing a friend. Years ago when my dog was alive, if I was crying about something he would come and put his head in my lap. That was 10 years ago and I still miss him. I was talking to Amber about her cat, and how I lost mine also recently. I do believe we will see them again when our time comes.
Is the dog you are talking about from the commercial the one with the pink nose sticking through the cage? That one breaks my heart! I wanted to write to purina and find where it was and go get it! Hopefully they've all found homes.

Thank you. I know, it's so hard. I feel embarrassed to say that I felt closer to him, than I've ever felt to ANY human being. We truly, were one. Even if it sounds dumb, I know that he knew this, too. We were co-dependent.:o
Yep, the pink nosed one. It breaks my heart. I think that if I won the lottery, I'd adopt as many dogs as possible, and hire pet loving young people to take care of them, and play with them(because I'm talking about hundreds, or thousands). A really good dog, is priceless.
