It is a magical organ, full of magical properties. But what kind of relationship do you have with this beautiful part of your body?

The thing is, I feel so close to my spleen, but somehow so far away. We're always in the same room, but always the silent treatment from him! I don't know how to rekindle the closeness we once had. How are you and your spleen, Dano? If you're doing better, maybe you could give me some pointers? Or maybe have yours speak to mine? I hate to ask for too much.

My spleen brings all the boys to the yard.I don't approve of that polyamorous behavior from mine. That might contribute to our communication problems.

Hillary, I feel for you. I really do. I went through the same thing with my own spleen, Giorgio, about two years ago. We've had some rough times. Might I suggest seeing an Organ Counseling Specialist? They worked wonders for us. Really sorted out our problems and got us to change our ways to make our relationship healthy and gratifying.
If that doesn't work you can always have the bastard cut out.

yeah, it's tough cause your spleen does have a tendency to feel like it's...useless.
and that hurts.

Well, my spleen is a modern day Helen Keller. The damn thing just sits there and says nothing....I doubt it hears anything, either. I did catch it blowing kisses to the spleen across the street, howerver. I dunno if it is ignoring me or what? Spleen-agers. They don't like authority.

Oh.My.Ghhe.
I was going to say that. I was really going to say that. I had the whole beat and tune and everything going on in my head. Then you had to come along with your thing, that is the same as my thing. That's it, 3:00, after class, I call you out, and your spleen is in for a whoopin'.
No, wait...I had "My spleen, my spleen, my something something spleen!" in my head. I think that's a different song. By Fergie? I dunno.
Okay, I guess I don't have to kick your ass/spleen this time. Which is nice, b/c my spleen does my taxes, and I wouldn't want it to get hurt...also it maintains my jacuzzi and sauna...does my dishes once a week...my spleen's name is Margarito (masculine of Margarita). Don't know how I'd get anything done without it.

My relationship with my spleen is limited to one-night stands and cigarette breaks. I wish we were closer, but I guess it's just not meant to be.

And Horatio does not like to travel. I really appreciate the advice, though.
If that doesn't work you can always have the bastard cut out.Would that not be a detriment to us both? Besides, if we end our relationship so soon, he'll never qualify for full citizenship status. He'd have to go back to Novosibirisk! It's unbearably cold there! Our marriage is one of convenience, I guess, but I thought he should be able to enjoy the comforts and opportunities of the great U.S. of A!

I dont think it is useless since it is the largest "lymphnode" in your body, and it does have a use:
"The spleen is a ductless, vertebrate organ that is closely associated with the circulatory system, where it functions in the destruction of old red blood cells and holding a reservoir of blood. It is regarded as one of the centers of activity of the reticuloendothelial system. Until recently, the purpose of the spleen was not known. It is increasingly recognized that its absence leads to a predisposition to certain infections."
