Now this is projecting way into the future but....after Lindsey releases his "Rock And Roll" album (hopefully) this year or early next and (hopefully) tours to back it, will he issue a live album? A two cd set with one acoustic and the other electric would be fantastic.

Now this is projecting way into the future I have my foil hat on...it is a great possibility. I do believe we are in store for much more from Lindsey. There is also the documentary he spoke about, and the filming of the Vegas show. This is a wonderful time. I am very excited. :)

It's possible that he might just release the audio for the Fort Worth DVD that was recorded on CD  I do agree that a live album of one disc acoustic and one disc electric would be great. Even better would be a DVD of the "electric" tour - if he changes it enough from this tour that is. If he releases one or not I'll be ripping the audio from this upcoming DVD anyway so I can play it "on the go":D

I'm not trying to be a downer or naysayer, but have we heard it confirmed that the FT WORTH show is destined for anything other than Mark Cuban's HDTV? I hope so, and it seems a natural fit, I just hadn't heard official or other than hearsay on the topic.

I personally hope LB releases 3 products a year onward, since he's so on fire right now. Are you reading this LB?:D

The film crew told me it was to be a DVD, but who knows? I guess we'll have to wait and see. They said it would be completed in 6 months (not released mind you just completed).

With the DVD continually on the rise, people tend to not release live albums anymore, but prefer to put out concert DVDs.

Releasing the next album and a DVD containing live performances and the documentary in the same package would be a good move. Hope he's thinking what I'm thinking.

Any live DVD from anyone from the Fleetwood Mac family would be a welcome surprise. Their output is frustratingly meek. Yeah, we got Stevie's Red Rocks, and Fleetwood Mac's The Dance and Live in Boston (very poorly shot/edited/packaged in my opinion). But that's about it.

How about putting on DVD what was released on VHS, like Stevie's awesome Bella Donna concert (full length) and...even Christine's concert video? I see so many artists that seemingly issue a concert DVD from every tour they do--U2, Tom Petty and Sheryl Crow come to mind.

We know for sure that there were Rumours and Tusk shows filmed, so why do they just let them sit in a can rotting away? If they are going to continue to rest on their laurals (and asses), they might as well milk the past...they've been doing that for a long time anyway. I can't imagine the market is any greater for someone like Sheryl Crow...she just put out another concert DVD -- for her last album, which didn't necessarily burn up the charts.

What about Lindsey's soundstage?

What about Lindsey's soundstage?Yes, and we'll get another live show on dvd somewhere this year. I don't think we should be complaining here.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one...but my frustration/complaint stills stands.

I'm not waiting on another "how can I kill the real Live-feel of a performance-lindseybuckingham-overdub-dvd."

And do we need a FOURTH offical live version of the amazing big love? No. I want new recordings. And an inside-the-music-information documentary would be fun.

i doubt it. I forsee a possible DVD release again. The SoundStage one was great...only flaw was that it didnt have enough tracks on it. I wish Fleetwood Mac would do a "SoundStage" when/if they get back together.

Don't know if it's a good commercial idea, but if he goes on with it, I hope he plays Big Love in the classical Tango style!!

I was told that he did some interviews in Fort Worth the afternoon before the show for the DVD. I don't know what the interview consisted of. I'm just passing along what the crew told us. So hopefully there might be some cool special features...maybe more than Soundstage had at least.

Oh that's interesting! There's the documentary too that we heard about before UTS came out. It's all gone a bit quiet on that front but it would make sense that the live DVD will have that and the interview.
I hope it includes Lindsey's music videos too, now that would make a fantastic package I think.

I completely agree, track...I've said the same thing in passing that it would be cool if he included the music videos with the dvd. I hope it's full of goodies and special features.
