Lindsey at the Bijou Theatre (http://www.knoxbijou.com/cal_march.htm).
Lindsey Buckingham
Saturday, March 17, 8 p.m.
Rolling Stone magazine calls Fleetwood Mac co-founder Lindsey Buckingham “one of rock’s most undervalued visionaries” because his versatility as a writer, singer, virtuoso guitarist and producer makes it difficult to label him. On his first solo album in 14 years, 2006’s Under the Skin, Buckingham has distilled his art to its essence: voice and guitar, with minimal percussive and production elements to create a work of unprecedented maturity, both virtuosic and intimate. The record represents a creatively restless superstar unfettered, unencumbered, unleashed.
On sale Friday, February 9, 10 a.m.
Kick ass.
I will definitely be there.
EDIT: Oh, and for those of you who don't know, the Bijou is supposed to be haunted. ;)
