When I was still lurking and unable to post, I saw listened to the full Julia demo that Jaz posted with Stevie cussing at 3 a.m. However, for some reason, I didn't download it. I loved it and would like to get it, would someone mind reposting? Thanks.

Thanks for posting. Though the vocal is kinda cool in a velnerable way - IMO this is one case where the production GREATLY enhanced the song and her vocal, which SOARS in the finished product :nod:

yep, I think so too. I will never understand why this didn't make BD. this and Gold and Braid are such awesome songs.

Stevie Nicks-Julia #5-"Piano Demos for Stevie" Master Reel

This disc includes a very slow piano demo of the song Julia with talking in between takes ("That f**king note") and a partial whisper version at the end-"I live two lives, I pretend I'm not me."

Stevie mentions that this song is brand new several times throughout the session, Plus she's arguing alot with Shelley Yakus in the studio over it being 3 O'Clock in the morning and asks for Robin to come in the studio with her. This was recorded the night after "Julia" was written.

Length: 19 minutes
