Just wanted to say 'hi' to everyone. I've been a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac for about 20 years now (started when I was barely a teenager, and I'm 32 now) and have been reading this board for a couple of years. I prefer the Buckingham Nicks era lineup the most, but I do enjoy Behind the Mask and Time, as well as the Bob Welch-era stuff. I'm not really into the blues era material, but I don't dislike it.

Anyway, now that I'm a 'real' member and can post, I thought I'd take this opportunity to say hello and to also mention that I am a musician who is heavily influenced by FM (and solo works). If anyone wants to hear my music, head on over to http://www.garageband.com/pdb. There are more than a few FM elements in some of my songs. For example, my song "Faces" feels like a cross between something on Tango, a hint of Mirage (thinking 'Straight Back'), and a few others. My song 'Escape' is fairly heavily influenced by Lindsey's solo work. Feel free to have a listen. I'm honestly not really looking for a critique of my music... I create it only as a hobby, so please - no 'it sucks' comments :)

OMG! I just checked out your music. You're really good. REALLY good. Not on any level with Stevie though :laugh:. No seriously, you are pretty damn good mate. Pleasure to have you here. I am more of a Stevie Nicks fan than a Fleetwood Mac fan but do love Fleetwood Mac too. As for 'Time'...I am keeping shut about my opinions on this at risk of being shot by Miss.Vicky or chiliD.

Welcome to the board. I am pretty much a newbie myself as well :) I also enjoy the same eras you do. I feel the exact same way about the blues era but they had some good stuff too.
