As a clippings collector, I have several 80's mags, that I have gone thru, but alas can not throw away, thinking there are others that may like certain artists featured inside. There are several mags all 80's, w/ the like os Marianne Faithful, Queen, Halen, Benetar, Jett, Stones, Joy Divison, the list goes on. Is anyone interested in these? They can for the most part have them...was thinking of asking for shipping only (maybe like $5) or maybe some of you are as AR as me, and have a stack of crap to rade off. haha. Afterwork, I'll remitt a full list, if there are any responses. Othewise, in the trash they'll go. :distress:

^^

Before trashing them have you considered Craigslist? It's free to post things - you can either post them as free - or hell charge the $5....I bet you'll find a taker there!!

I hadn't thought of that for Mags, but good call. TY. Rather see a Happy Ledgie, but totally a good idea. I do this all the time, but never think to ask first. Just feel bad that they are getting pitched. (How Lame right???) but Craigs List...good call.

Well by all means give Ledgies first dibs if you so wish - I just meant if they didn't move on here....I've had success with Craigslist - and just noticed the other day on the Fort Collins one someone was unloading a bunch of mags...:o

Oh - and I totally understand not wanting to throw them away..I'm the same way with magazines.

^^^^I just started putting a few things on Craigslist a couple weeks ago, and I've been getting some interest in them. CL is great for items that are too big to ship(thus making eBay not an option).

 I just discovered it and got some nice cash for things I would have otherwise donated...or didn't realize anyone would buy...but they did and now I'm about to post another load of stuff...I'm loving it!

More than for the money, I'm just trying to clean out my house and garage.
But yeah, it's hard to just throw this stuff out, for nothing. Some old speaker boxes, a refrigerator, exercise bike, etc....

Oh yeah - it was mostly about cleaning out/thinning out stuff - the added bonus was making money..as my (great humanitarian of a) friend, Susan, says, "being charitble doesn't pay" I don't really take that seriously - but it was nice to get something for stuff I otherwise would have just dumped off at the Salvation Army or somewhere.

I was actually going to have a garage sale come spring - but I'm not that patient and having all that junk around was just blah...so I'm thrilled to have found Craigslist...

lots of great apartments on there too which I'm hoping keeps up when I finally get to move out of my currrent place :D

How much would you like for all of them? I'm into collecting those kinds of things, so is my BF.. if it's not too outrageous, I'll take 'em off your hands!

Well, I think that they may be spoken for. (xdux..check your PM's) but all of you, again, I am in total agreeance w/ the whole CL thing. I have used it to get things from, but yet to sell or unload, but yes, it's a great thing that CL, BUT better if a happy Ledgie be made. haha.

Thanks all. =0)

Modern Drummer Mar. 83: Kenny Jones cover (who is this guy???)

He replaced Keith Moon in The Who.
