View Full Version : Does anyone have "Come Out & Play" for download?
I was wondering if anyone could post "Come Out & Play" as I can't seem to find my file of this. Also, if anyone could be so kind as to share the acoustic version of "Friend" with me, I would be extremely grateful.
Also, are there any other outtakes or different versions of songs from "In The Meantime"?
Cheers,
Phil

i archived the acoustic version of "friend" when i cleaned out my hard drive, so i just have it on my ipod right now. if no one posts it for you, i'll try and find the CD i burned it to and get it up next weekend.
as far as i know, there aren't any other outtakes for ITM. although lord knows, i wish there were. if christine ever decides to do anything with her site again, that's the first thing i'll be begging for.

Hey Phil... here's the acoustic version of "Friend."
It's good to see you around these parts again. :wavey:

Thank you Aisling and Johnny Stew! I was able to download both songs but was unable to burn Come Out & Play to disc. Do you know if this is a protected file? I attempted everything I could think of but to no avail. I feel quite ignorant about this but do you have any tips?

Is the bitrate low on COAP? My burner won't burn anything less than 128.

I haven't downloaded what Aisling posted, so I don't know for certain, but I'm assuming that was the format she shared.
Here it is converted to mp3....

You should be able to burn it now. :)
Thanks Johnny Stew - that did the trick! It really is a decent track and could have easily taken the place of nearly everything else on In The Meantime in my opinion.

I think it could have taken the place of Easy Come, Easy Go but not anything else.

As some of you may recall, I'm not particularly fond of Christine's output over the last 25 years and so I didn't expect a lot from In The Meantime. Apart from the first three tracks, which were a pleasant surprise to me, there is nothing even remotely listenable to these ears. I guess that's why I find it puzzling that Come Out And Play wasn't included - it could have even been a single.
