Feel free to talk about why you love it, why you don't and every aspect that IS Bella Donna:nod:

I kinda had that feeling one night....during my darkest hour....i heard someone sing....odd, I know. Before I met Tusk, I had that happen to me also. It was the sweetest thing, having someone tell you they'd rather be alone than be without you. I don't know why Rock a Little and I never pursued it any further. I guess Tusk was more persuasive. Plus, I have a huge crush on his daddy. Don't tell though!

Well, it is not a flaw - it is only because you are experienced enough to know that sometimes important information happens in less than compelling threads. *inserts halo over yours and my head*

No. I cannot ever comprehend why she doesn't do so. I almost hate her abstractly for the songs she doesn't do, but easily could. I fight the hate and succeed, but I still always long for everyone in the world to hear the sublime and genius songs that they never heard her sing, but which she had sung, and made up herself, and written, and are so very, very, very good.
But I do have to say that I am somewhat delighted at your BD moon that she loves thingy. Sometimes, sometimes I think about Stevie doing things just cause of the moon that she loves, and it warms my heart. Because she did do things because of that. She seems very in touch with her crazy lunar side. It informs almost all of her lyrics. And the best part is that she doesn't think she's crazy for thinking what she does, though others do think she is crazy.
But who cares? Her crazy is her career, and rightfully so times a million.

That is first on my list right now, I have to see it. I've read such widely varying reviews, though. I hope I like it. I have to admit, I got hooked on her b/c of Coma.
I usually like movies because of acting, and don't care about bad sets or bad plot lines, just about the expression in the actor's eyes - so I'm sure I will like it. I love Richard Burton, though they say he is overblown but without depth in the role of Henry 8th - but some of them say that is perfect, as that is how Henry 8th was.
Anyhoo, I am looking forward to seeing that. I've never (in limited experience) see Genevieve be any less than very compelling. I feel like I really understand her acting.

I too am a big fan. However, if you want to see her biggest acting blunder, check out the bonus material for Star Trek Voyager Season One on dvd. Genevieve was originally cast as Captain Janeway, but quit 2 days into filming the pilot.
The footage survuved and was rough cut into a major scene for the dvd release. Ms. Bujold was in a little over her head.
But don't worry, you can always Dead Ringer to offset the disappointment.
(and to keep this on topic, Stevie did contemplate BD as the opening number for the TISL shows)

I like Bella Donna...but it is not my favorite album. It is indeed a masterpiece and has great songs. "Outside The Rain" would have to be my favorite track from Bella Donna. I do admit that the title of the album itself is amazing....the words Bella Donna just roll off your tongue. The title track "Bella Donna" would have to be my second favorite off this album. :)
