OK...so..out of ALL of Stevie's back catalogue of music (i.e. non-album stuff), what would you all like to see done live. For me it would have to be "God's Garden" and "Gold and Briad" should make a fine return. Maybe these could be the new tracks for the proposed "Live album"? Anyone else got any live tracks that will NEVER happen?

Stevie will never perform Sable On Blonde live.

Or Imperial Hotel.

Or It's Only Love.

To name a few...

Stevie performed It's Only Love with Sheryl Crow at the Shine Club in April 2001 (just prior to the TISL release)

Along with a VERY loose version of SDMHA, Leather and Lace and Too Far From Texas.

Sheryl also performed Madonna's "Don't Tell Me" and Sweet Home Alabama with Kid Rock at that show.

Not your typical show. :-)

I would DIE for Space Needle - maybe with LB on acoustic guitar and CM on a concert grand and and that it it.

I am not huge on Thousand Days - but it would be cool to hear live.

I also would LOVE to hear Imperial Hotel and sa beeyotch belting on it.

Let's make this simple. These songs will never happen:

-99.5% of RAL (with the exception of HAEWAFY)
-OSTOM Album
-Street Angel Album
-Her Soundtrack Material

No. It was never performed live.

Someone even asked Lori in her Q&A why it has never made it to the stage. She said it was a once in a lifetime vocal or something like that.

What is "The Dream Is Never Over"? Do you mean the song "Straight Back"?
And what is "For U(sic) Rhiannon"? Do you mean the demo "The Three Birds of Rhiannon?" Of your list, the only songs she plausibly would perform are "Blue Lamp" and "Twisted." The others will be performed when hell freezes over, especially the two unreleased songs you listed.

"Races Are Run" (actually performed as Buckingham Nicks in 73-74, I believe?)
"Crystal" (ditto)
"Storms"
"The Highwayman"
"Nothing Ever Changes"
"Battle of the Dragon" (!)
"Violet and Blue" (!)
"Imperial Hotel" (for the reasons strandinthewind mentioned)
"Long Way To Go" (!)
"Ooh My Love" (!)

Then "Blue Denim," "Think About It," "Angel," "Sisters of the Moon," "Gold and Braid," "Planets of the Universe," "Blue Lamp (?)," "Talk To Me," and "Rooms On Fire" are all welcome to return to her set. Preferably replacing tired songs. It might have been a hit in 1981, but "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" is slow these days and Waddy is not an effective foil or vocalist like Petty is.

Yeah! more support for ooh my love! :wavey: Also yes, stmha needs to go.
