 I love how he answered that question. I can't imagine looking at a 60+ foot swell like that in the middle of the Pacific! I definitely wouldn't have minded if he went on and on about his other stories. Good question BJ! Hey, your initials are... hehe.

I don't have the say you will promo clip mentioned in the discussion regarding what song they were playing in the Destiny Rules clip with the Dolphins while John and Lindsey are jamming. John is present so perhaps he knows? Is there a chance someone could send the clip to John and inquire about it? I sure would like to know more about it.

Big thanks to whomever obliges.

I cannot believe John answered with an "AAAAARGH MATEY!!!" I use that line on a near daily basis towards one of our cats, the weirdly named 'yellow skervy' calico "Quilt Pirate".

Yes, us BASSISTS do indeed do it deeper...Well, ya know..."IT"...

Brian "Shiver me timbers ya filthy scalliwag...AAAAARGH MATEY!!!" j.

ps-SuzeQuze, I have heard so many frikkin' jokes about my initals "B.J."  Oh well, My Mom's were "B.S." and the acorn sure didnt fall that far from the tree in that regards.

This is what my set list would be. Now since I guess that they will be touring with nothing new to promote I am just picking songs from their previous work.

The Chain
Dreams
Seven Wonders
Peacekeeper
Gold Dust Woman
I'm So Afraid
Bleed To Love Her
Gypsy

Acoustic Set
Big Love
Say Goodbye
Crystal
When I see You Again
Storms

Steal Your Heart Away
Thrown Down
Second Hand News
Sara
Oh Well
Rhiannon
Sweet Girl
Go Your Own Way

Encores
Monday Morning
Sisters of The Moon

Dont Stop
Landslide

Now I agree that The Chain / Dreams Combo is tired but for for reason I like those two in the opening slot. I like that John is asking for requests regarding the set list. I figure my set list has some staples but a few goodies for us die hards.

Hello...I saw the initial thread request and now this one. I have watched DR a few times since obtaining but I haven't a clue of the dolphins that are referenced. Where does that transpire in DR? I watched DR and I am happily reminded how great the doc is/was. Thanks! The only time I saw dolphins was while John was on his boat. The song prior is Illume, the song during is What's The World Coming To and the song afterwards is Thrown Down. The only time I saw Lindsey and John "jamming" with each other alone was when John was working out the bass for SYW. Am I missing dolphins somewhere else in this doc?

Thought John might know what they're working on. thanks for looking into it BTFLCHLD :xoxo: I have no idea other than they could be practicing or recording a layer for a particular song...it is all about the mix. Then again, it could be something else. It would be a great question for John that you should ask. To assist in the recall, I would provide him with the trailer youtube as you did here. When there was an initial mention of the dolphins, I had thought the reference was to those in the actual documentary. I would provide him with the link as a point of reference to your question.

That's very kind of you BTFLCHLD! I was hoping someone could upload the actual clip (from The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac) with the question to John because the one at YouTube begins with a horrid beeping akin to a hearing test!! Poor John will never return if we put him through that. Perhaps a warning in the question will save his ears. I'm also no sure how to PM Liz. Thanks for your assistance.

To be fair, as I have received a few responses from John during the Q&A sessions, I think if would be great if the question would come from you and the person who originally asked the question - do you recall who that was? A response from John directly to you would be cool...don't you think? ;)

As to the highpitch screech at the beginning of the youtube...pretty sure John could handle that...he has been through a divorce afterall! hehe

Formulate your question and post here for Lis to pick-up...once you post I can send to her via PM to ensure she receives.

I will allow you guys to beat me to pulp if he did/does. He did say anything goes.

John, in case you are reading this, I did not mean any disrespect with the 20flip comment...
I really am just curious how that works. :sorry:

Then again, maybe he has a life outside our Q&A  ;)

I guess I became excited with the daily reads.

Ello John,

Thanks for offering your time to connect with fans! I'll ask quickly as you'll need to watch a video that accompanies my question. Can you till us what is played from 1:00-1:25 in this video that was included on The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac. The music starts right after Lindsey says "Where is everybody?"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlotTzcKIhc

Is this a song that didn't make it on say you will, or just some amazing-sounding jam session! I'm glad you're the most accessible mac-er because you're the most brilliant! Rock on John!! And thanx for the music.

I'm listening to Tusk the song right now and I swear he is singing the low part on the verses. Has anyone asked him this? It's definitely a voice with a Brit tinged accent, it's not Lindsey and doesn't sound like Mick.

I dunno but on "The Dance" DVD when he sings some very quiet, nearly unaudible backing vocals on "Say You Love Me", Mich says at the end "let's heard it for John McVie on vocals, first time ever!"

As luck would have it, John began the moving process (yet again) shortly after starting the Q&A. I think he would like to do more questions eventually, but i'm not sure if he has his stuff 'together' enough yet to do that. I asked him, I'm waiting to hear back. I have all the submitted questions in a folder, so they are safe and sound and ready when it's a better time for him.
