View Full Version : John McVie's back for another round.....

What are we up to, round 4? I lose track. I knew he'd be back eventually. Anyway, he wants more questions, and not only nice ones LOL. Here's what he said about it, instead of me trying to describe what he means:
"I'm open to questions.
However, here's a little "Caveat", (as it were).
ANYTHING GOES! O.K? Love me or hate me or love or hate the Band, just let it flow because I'm in the mood for a few honest questions and more honest answers. I'm reading so much stuff about the Band Members that isn't true and is quite insulting.
SO!
GLOVES OFF and BRING IT ON!!!!!!"
So start sending us those questions you may have been a tad afraid to ask! 'what the heck were you guys thinking when you did such and such?' .... Ask anything, about him, the others, upcoming plans, whatever. He can choose to answer what he wants, as always, but he seems to want to just let it rip, so ya'll can go to town.
Send questions to <
[email protected]> so we can get this going. I have some questions left over from the last Q&A, but we need new ones so put your thinking caps on!!!! ;)

"I'm reading so much stuff about the Band Members that isn't true and is quite insulting."It must be hard reading negative comments and presumptions made about the people you know and love best.
Kudos to John for not wanting to sweep these hurtful things under the rug, but to bring them out into the open.

John's soundin' frisky in the new year! I love it!
Ask questions that we have been afraid to ask (in other words don't ask the same boring questions like, when are you going to tour again and is Chris coming back  ).

Wow, that's so cool that he's telling us to ask him edgier questions.
I must think of something. I do love John.
I wonder what "insulting" stuff he's been reading exactly!

I need to figure out what to ask him! I'm not good at coming up with questions. I couldn't even come up with a question for Lindsey. Yeah, I know. LOL
Perhaps a question about Danny...or the non-Rumours eras would be in order. I'm wondering if he felt the magic was gone when LB, SN, and CM left. Is that edgy enough? I mean, we fight about that all the time around here.

Do you think it would be rude to ask about possibly mixing up the set for the 07' tour?? Or has that issue been beaten to death already??
If I don't ask that I think I may ask something about Chris or the SYW album. Im not sure at all!

That is what I wanted to ask him, but figured someone else already would. Do you think "What have you been reading about the band that is insultingly untrue, and where?" is too broad of a question?

All is fair until he starts naming names.
I am excited about another John Q&A. I, however, can't think of a decent question.

i agree. I wonder if he would allow their number 1 fans (ledgies of course! ) to pick one of the songs they add. By way of survivor or something:shrug: maybe if there were a high demand for a particular song-they would do it. I don't want to ask because it's probably a stupid idea :o plus on the offchance they agree-i don't want to do the "setlist wishlist survivor"

I know of a couple of bands that did that. Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath/Rainbow) let fans on a message board vote songs until they narrowed it down to 5 (by way of a survivor type thing) and then the band would pick as many songs as possible to play from this list. I think they ended up doing 3 of the 5 suggested songs. I know other bands do it as well, so it'd be cool if FM did.

I agree!! talk about a brutal survivor  . And then to top it off, it would be really cool if they actually DID it and we knew it was because of us!!! (p.s. I'm a dork!! )

^^^ But Stevie AND Lindsey's very limited singing range these days, is what keeps this from being a possibility. S & L would never go for it, anyway.

yeah, I know. That's the sucky part. And I assume some songs don't translate well to concert, regardless of their singing abilities?? (I don't know. I'm mostly asking). so
but it would still be nice.
