There are lot of them I just picked the most popular (at least in Peru).

Who was your favorite superhero, or still is?

I had a birthday party when I was little....and Spiderman was on my cake, the plates, the tablecloth...everything. I love me some Spidey. Superman and Batman are cool too though. :)

i chose superman! because when the villain throws his empty gun at superman, superman ducks, even though he just deflected an entire cartrage of ammo.

Wonder Woman, mainly because the TV show was on when I was little & I was convinced that if I spun around fast enough, I could turn into WW!

I like Batman cuz he doesn't necessarily have any "super powers".

I do find it very cool that you included Aquaman.
I take it Capt. America and the Falcon weren't big in Peru?

I went with WW. Best costume, best theme, best everything.

And who doesn't want to do Lynda Carter?

Poor Aquaman - - I bet if Justin Hartley had appeared yet, there'd be more votes

I voted for Superman, since I have nearly every issue of the Superman titles from 1986 to present (Though the best comic out there is "Strangers in Paradise", gotta love a well-done realistic lesbian/love triangle story-Sucks that SIP will cease to exist in 5 issues)

Superman! When I was a kid my cousin and I used to play like we were the bionic man and the bionic woman. Loved them!!!

Batman. I wasn't a fan when I was a kid, but have recently had a change of heart.

One look around my bedroom and my favorite superhero is pretty easy to figure out... Wonder Woman.

In fact, many Ledgies might be surprised to know that my room isn't filled with Stevie/Fleetwood Mac memorabilia, but with Wonder Woman statues, DVDs, books, action figures, lunchboxes, mugs, etc., etc.

And, yes, I even own this (and I'm not embarrassed to admit it)....

The absence of "bionic" as a choice is understandable, yet disconcerting. In the absence of bionic choices, I was forced to go with Wondah Womehyn! She's pretty cool, but Lindsay Wagner as bionic is way cooler, and why the frick is the bionic woman dvd set 75 dollars? and not available on netflix.
Anywhoo, that is what happens when you compare "superheroes" according to what you saw on TV. You realize that bionic Jamie Summers really had the best plotlines. And the fact that she was a regular human imbued with bionic powers makes it better. Because she isn't from another planet and stuff.
*end of bionic dork out*

I actually don't have that one yet. Since she was so similar to the first edition, I didn't get her.
I probably will at some point.

I have a lot of Superman memorabilia too (he's my second favorite), but nowhere near what I have for Wonder Woman.

This is the item I'm currently drooling over... it doesn't come out until April, but I don't think I'll ever be able to afford it (unless I start hooking)....

That was a toughie. It was between Batman and Wonder Woman but I ultimately had to go with Wonder Woman because 1) She's hot. 2)She was my favorite Pez dispenser. 3) No annoying sidekick 4)She's hot.

My friends and I used to play Wonder Woman on the playground...I didn't get into Batman until the Michael Keaton movie...what was that, in '89? Though I DID enjoy him on Scooby Doo prior to that :p

Now I don't feel so bad. I have the one Johnny has, and bought my daughter the one you got for Deb. Two Barbie addicts in my house and my husband's ready to shoot himself.

For me it's a tie...Superman and Wonder Woman.
I absolutely loved Christopher Reeve as Superman, and for the past few years have gotten heavily into "Smallville".
I also used to watch "Wonder Woman" all the time, and wanted to be her...or Princess Leia (till I found Luke was her brother).

I'm really surprised about Wonder Woman winning this poll. I don't think WW would win in Peru. We latins are too machistas.. A man should be the hero, they would say.
