It's time for my annual charity post.
As I've said in the past, I know that money is tight for everyone... and I'm certainly not trying to make anyone feel bad if they can't give... I just like to remind my fellow Ledgies to please keep in mind all of the worthy charities that could greatly benefit from a small donation this Holiday season.
There's an amazing site, called JustGive.org (http://www.justgive.org/index.html), which has an extensive list of over 1,000,000 non-profit charity organizations, categorized, so you can easily search for the types of charities you'd like to support.
I've also listed a small handful of great charities below.
And of course, don't forget you can always donate to your local charities! :)
Toys For Tots (http://www.toysfortots.org/)
American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org/)
Children With AIDS Project (http://www.aidskids.org/)
Easter Seals (www.easter-seals.org/)
Meals On Wheels (http://www.mowaa.org/)
The Humane Society of the United States (www.hsus.org/)
Happy Holidays!!!
