o.k. let's admit it. We have some pretty f*cked up usernames on here. some that I can't pronounce, some that have numbers after them :wavey: some that are lines from songs, etc.

So tell us why you picked that name.

michelle=obvious reasons.

if it's not that obvious to you... michelle is my real name...

Miss Vicky
12-05-2006, 12:29 AM
The short story is that I use this name on EVERY messageboard of which I'm a member.

The long story is that the first boards I joined were the ones at WarrenZevon.com and I couldn't think of a Zevonian user name that wasn't already taken, so I chose "Miss Vicky" which comes from a joke between myself and a former manager.

I apparently sound nothing like my normal self when I answer the phone at work and have been told that I should work doing phone sex or as a late night D.J. My manager was the first one to make that suggestion (saying that I should call myself "Miss Vicky") and still asks how much it is per minute when she calls me.

BTW - I HATE the name Vicky. It's Victoria or Tory, please.

And take my child away
'Twas I who was the hourglass
And the sands of time like shattering glass
Went past me... like a tunnel... to the sea.......

And I who went to sleep as two
Woke up as one, now only you remain
You'll close your eyes and travel back
To the time when the light went fading fast
And the words you'll never, never forget, oh no
As you slipped away...

Goodbye, baby
I hope your heart's not broken
Don't forget me
Yes, I was outspoken
You were with me all the time
I'll be with you one day

And I who went to sleep in tears
Woke up in tears for all of the years
And I who never, never said goodbye
As I slipped away...

Goodbye, baby
I hope your heart's not broken
Don't forget me
Yes, I was outspoken
You were with me all the time
I'll be with you one day

It's simple...............I love Celtic things and Stevie's song "Gypsy" is a favorite of mine. I have done some family research back several generations and found out that both sides of my family came from Galicia, Spain so it's weird that I have loved Celtic things since I was a kid.

No no, I love it. Plus there are so many Stevie/Mac names it can be hard to keep them straight.

My name comes from something a friend called me teasing me, Sooz Kyooz. I was thinking of using SuzyQuzy but that sounded kind of cutesy. But apparently that is how people read it so it's cool. I like SuzyQuzy now.

My dvd's have been collecting dust for about two years now, and I told myself I won't start watching them again until I forget all the dialogue and can therefor not speak along with the characters. That's so annoying.

No, honestly, I can close my eyes and play them in my head. One of these days I'll pop in the pilot again and see if I can get readdicted for a second time. It's just that the element of surprise is pretty much gone. It would really help if they started working on that second movie soon, at least that would be something new.

I thought I'd seen a good chunk of episodes - but I was wrong - since I started renting them there are so many I haven't seen!!! It makes me feel like a fraud for having those Mulder and Scully action figures :p

Anyway - so I definitely don't have them memorized...even the ones I have seen...some of them I didn't remember...like the one with Big Blue- I know I'd seen it but I couldn't remember what happened at the end...

But yeah - once the element of surprise is gone I can imagine them being just a bit harder to watch

And I'm with you -they need to make an X-Files movie asap!!!

And I'm with you -they need to make an X-Files movie asap!!!Chris Carter and FOX need to work out their petty differences soon now that Gillian is finally ready to go after popping out Baby Numero Deux. With the speed this project is moving along they'll have Mulder and Scully chasing the bad guys in a wheelchair holding a drooling cup...

I'm actually jealous, I wish I hadn't seen all of the episodes...they just don't make television like that anymore. :wavey:

Heh..I know..but once I see them all I will never have that feeling of seeing them for the first time..so it's still a bittersweet experience. I mean I just saw the first two episodes of season 5 last night...my GOD..I was crying by the end...they're just so good! Then the episode "Unusual Suspects..." LOVED it....I just love that show...and you're right, they don't make 'em like that anymore

It's that good huh? I never got into it. The few times I tried I just didn't get it. I think you have to watch from the first episode to get it?

Why..I'm a super-heroine. I thought everyone knew by now.

Sesly, it comes from two Monkees songs. When I first got on the net, they were my numero uno favorite group. Randy Scouse Git, a song Micky wrote while in England, is my favorite Monkees song. There is a line that goes "...the being known as wondergirl is speaking, I believe...". The wondergirl in the song was Micky's wife (at the time), Samantha Juste. The 9847 comes from another Monkees song, PO Box 9847...a song about a personal ad.

My fave episodes of X-Files are the funny ones. The circus freaks episode was terrific, the episode (Gah, I'm blanking on the titles!) where there is a full moon or something and these girls kill people...Scully acts really odd during the show...sniping at the end "Shut up, Mulder." as she cruises right through a stop sign. LOVE that one. Also, the vampire episode cracks me the frick up. The whole Rashomon/He Said, She Said aspect...with Luke Wilson. I HATE the alien episodes...sue me. I like the sewer freak one too. I just love any ep where David used his wit...cuz dude is funny.

OH, and Home...*shudder* That one really gave me nightmares. That Johnny Mathis song....everytime I hear it, I get chills.

I LOVE The lighter more quirky episodes...

My favorites are and always have been Clyde Bruckman's Final Reposed (with Peter Boyle...and The Stuppendous Yappi) and Jose Chung's From Outter Space (also featuring Stuppendous Yappi  )

The circus one was greatness...heh..the Figi Mermaid....

But I also like the other more serious episodes too

And yeah, Suze - if ya just catch one here of there there's a strong chance of one not getting it...it totally depends on the episode....

Scully saying "Agent Mulder died, late last night, from an apparant self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head."

I about died myself! That was one long summer.

OMG  That would have killed me...this whole time I've been so thankful that I am seeing them this way...no waiting to find out what happens..no commercials...

Bad Blood - nope haven't seen that one yet, but it's in five so I'll likely see it before the week is over :D

I kept trying different names (Gypsy, Angel, etc.) and gave up on them. I started spelling stuff backwards & came up with Skcin.

No mysterious reason actually, I use the 'estranged4life' on nearly everything online (I wanted to use just the word "estranged" when I first came online as an email acct name, but it was taken, so Deb suggested the '4life' as a joke, and yet it stuck)

It's a kind of homage to one of my favourite movies, Nelly & Mr. Arnaud.

The two leading actors are Michel Serrault and Emmanuelle Beart.

Well I have had my sig for a long time now. It's a combination of two things. The first part electronic comes from Madonna (Who I'm a huge fan of) when they called her Electronica Veronica when Ray of Light was released and Storm comes from a house music song back in 1997 that I fell in love with and am still in much love with. I ended up putting the 2 together and ending with the final result. Nothing genius really, but hey you asked!!
