Check out this loving footage of Courtney Love, Billy Corgan, Linda Perry et al performing several of Courtney’s new tunes (plus a very cool cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Rhinannon) at theGay & Lesbian Center fundraiser in Los Angeles, a few weeks ago. Watch Part 1 above, Part 2 right here. [via Moon Washed Rose]

That was cool. I was waiting to see if she was going to bust out "take me like the wind child!"

Before I watch, the names immediately made me think "Did they meet up at the Train Wreck Drug Addict Convention?"
Okay, snipe done, time to watch.
That was good. Thanks, Livia.

^ She probably wasn't stoned enough. She's supposed to be clean isn't she? I like Courtney and Linda Perry. That was pretty good. I love hearing different takes on a old song.

I'm so used to seeing Courtney the trainwreck, so it was rather disheartening to see her sit down like a lady and actually try to sing it. It was a bit uninspiring, although I really liked the instrumental arrangement. And it was cool that the audience was singing along.
If Stevie only knew how hip she is these days...

that was pretty good.
and the crowd's reaction was awesome. I wish she would've done the ending part...I'm interested to see how she'd do.

Wow, she really sounds a lot like 70s Stevie on the verses. Thanks for posting!

Yeah, me too, cause I know her voice can do that heavy growel rock chick thing. She seriously was one of my favorite concerts ever. Celebrity Skin was my favorite cd for a really long time. I like "cleaned up" courtney. And I love how shes such a stevie fanatic. She talks about stevie like a fan and I like that.
