View Full Version : Anyone ever stay at the Belnord in NYC?

I'm booking a VERY last minute trip to New York City, and I need somewhere to stay for a night or two that's cheap, but not completely disgusting. I found this place, The Belnord, and their prices seem pretty nice. I also haven't read too many terrifying reviews, but I'm still not sure. I just want to find out a little more before I charge my card.

Any of you guys know anything about it? Your input is much appreciated :-*

Where is it? Like the address...and do you know of anything that it's near?

All's I know is that it's very, very close to Central Park and the Museum of Natural History, haha.

Hmm..well I just looked online a little and it says it's on the Upper West Side..and has a bedbug issue...ew.

And it's way inexpensive for NYC...when you get that cheap I tend to get a bit wary...but then I've never stayed there so I don't know...hopefully a New York ledgie can weigh in and be of more help....

I read about the whole bedbug thing. Creeps me out, but I can just sleep on the floor if I have to. I like sleeping on the floor for some reason, anyway. The price is amazing, but like you said, a place that cheap makes me wary. I'll figure it out eventually.

It's sad that' I'd prefer bedbugs over roaches lol...or rats. Ugh. If you're only there for a couple of days - and it's not like you're going to spend all your time there....I dunno it's so economical...I'd go for it....!
