**** **** ****!!! I can't afford tickets until Decmber 8th!!! Noooooooooooooo! LOL. Dang, Linds, give me a chance here...I'm still paying for the phone bill I ran up lying to my work from Chicago!!! ;)

I think, after looking at the prices, I'll only be able to afford one night. However, I'll consider that decision carefully, because after Chicago, I can't tell my work any more lies, LOLOL! Except Pattie, you have an excellent point...my flight actually *could* get delayed for weather...Toronto or Buffalo in January? Yikes. ;) Let's just hope that happens on the way *home*, if it's gonna happen!

I am so going, though. Right now great seats are still up there, I looked on the site...but I just can't do it right now. (UnlessIwaittopaymyphonebill.) Nonono...bad Bree. ;)

But, yah, totally there. Hm...my grandma's birthday is the 19th...looks like we're going to be "taking her somewhere for a weekend to celebrate!" (Lord, I wish my work was more accomodating with time off requests...they must think I am SO family oriented by this point, most shows I see get passed off as family dinners/reunions/misc. events.)

*crosses fingers* See y'all in January!

Well, I would love to go to this show, but I have other fish to fry in Vegas. As in fish, I mean Stevie Nicks. As in Stevie Nicks, I mean the greatest singer of all time. As in singer, I mean concerts at Caesars. As in Caesars, I mean great food.

So yeah.....It's just about the food.

did they give you a confirmation # ???? I didn't get one, but I was told just to have my id and credit card with me, so I'm sot sure.

I went to Vegas earlier this year and got screwed out of seeing a show because I didn't have my confirmation # or some thing, I was pissed!! I walked ALL the way down to the Stratosphere for this show and couldn't get in!

LOL Pattie! Nah, not a nutjob...a nutjob is someone who tells her work she lost her passport and can't cross the border to come home 'til she gets it back, just in order to see 2 shows instead of one. Who would DO such a thing? ;)

I'm taking into consideration the getting time off work thing too...I think I'm only going to be able to do the Saturday show. That way, I'm still requesting 2 days off, but they're spread over 2 weeks...lol!

Julie, I'd call the box office right away and explain the situation...you may need a confirmation number to pick the tickets up at will-call (I have had extensive will-call experience lately, LOL), but they can probably pull that up for you if you tell them you forgot to print the page, and give them your name and credit card number and all...I would assume, anyway. These private venues are, it seems, MUCH easier to work with than Ticketmaster. Good Luck!!!!

(Wow...Julie, Christy, Pattie, Stevie_Buck, me...Chicago revisited! ;) )

This is part of the band members' final nefarious bid to take everyone's money at Vegas. Stevie, then Lindsey, then Stevie, then Stevie, then probably Lindsey again next year...AAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

They're like (Lindsey) "Okay, Stevie, you get everyone's money in December, then I'll swing through in January and get everyone's money, then we'll give them a chance to get some more money, then you swing through for four days in March to get their money, then we'll do a show together in the summer to take their money, then I'll tour behind my new album late fall to get their money, then we'll take a Buckingham Nicks show out in early 2008 to get their money....see if you can do another show with Petty or something in the down spaces, you raked in a lot of money with that whole thing and...lessee..." :blob2: :blob2:

and on and on forever YAY!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm really worried about the cost of the plane ticket, honestly...considering yesterday it was $177 and today it's $320, lol...wtf?...but...I can't book the plane until December 22 anyway, yay crappy paychecks...so I might as well not worry about it too much, because it could change 1000 times in that time period.

Where are you wanting to stay? I figure Luxor works for me - less travel time and I've stayed there before. Its a decent place and the rooms are spacious.

However if you're looking at an awesome hotel - Bellagio is a lot easier to navigate but the Wynn has the most fantastic rooms - the best I've ever stayed in. The pillows were so fantastic I contacted the hotel when I got home and had them specially deliver a couple of them to me.

Really that much? Are you flying in? And how many nights are you planning on staying? I checked Expedia and for 2 nights at the Luxor, plus my flight is around $550.00 which doesn't make much sense as I am coming from a much further distance. Have you checked Expedia?

The Luxor is fine - nice and spacious, clean, fairly updated with a glorious washroom. When I was there in '03 for the SYW tour, there were 4 of us in a suite and having an extra large bathroom for 3 girls and a Nancy boy was very necessary. My only complaint is that its a long walk to the centre of the strip, but seeing as I'll be there for a couple of days I won't need to do a whole lot of exploring.

Well, I AM very resourceful. :p ...and you're welcome. :xoxo:
Glad you found something better. As for seat 70, I have no clue, those maps are horrifying. But I'm in row A as well for the Saturday and we're seats 53 and 54. How big IS this place?

I sesly hope that seating chart is crap. I ASKED the lady when I called..."Do you have any front row seats for Lindsey Buckingham?" and I think I asked her again at the end of my call. She said I had Row A, seat 47 for both shows. I must have said "That is front row?" and she said yes. I think we are all okay, but gah with the frickin' seating chart crap already! :( I noticed the other day Row A, seat 72 was up for sale...I'm guessing there are about 100 seats in the front row. That seems too many, doesn't it?

Yes, yes it does. :distress: Ok now...don't get started again. I found some info that the seat capacity is 1100...so in reviewing those maps they hardly seem accurate. I would say the one direct from the luxor site is the most accurate of them all...and with that there is no seat numbering and the row spread seems larger.

Good News: we will be on our knees at Lindsey's feet...who cares where the seat is?

I'm pretty sure I clicked on Friday just to see what seats they still had.

Whew. Okay. ;) I checked my credit card after that to make sure the transaction wasn't returned or anything, lol, and it went through, so it's still mine!

Awwwwwwwwww that *sucks*...well, hopefully you can get something awesome on Saturday, because, I mean, that is YOUR SHOW!! I'll be crossing my fingers for you!!

Edit: Just checked for the Saturday show, and I'm pulling up Row B, Seat 41. Therefore, there IS indeed a row A, LOLOL...they're not just naming it Row A due to lack of row designation. I've been to a venue like that before...you went by seat number, not row, so therefore if there were 50 seats in the first row and you were in seat 75, you'd be smack in the middle of second row. And all their tickets said "Row 1", due to there not being any rows. It was messed up and makes me paranoid to this day. ;) So, I'm guessing in Seat 72, I'm pretty much all the way to the side, stage left...the highest seat number I pulled up in my search pre-ticket buying was 74, so I don't think it goes much higher than this. Not sure if this is useful, lol, but it eases my mind...we are all, indeed, in first row!

Edit again: Okay, y'all! We're good. I was just trolling Ticketmaster to see what was going on down there, see if there were any shows that had not yet shown up anywhere else... And on Ticketmaster, the two Luxor shows? Go on sale TOMORROW, December 1. So...essentially, this has been almost a presale...they haven't been widely available yet, except for online or over the phone. That explains how we ALL got first row and nothing worse, lol!

Just had to say two things:

One, LESS THAN A MONTH NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, for me it's one month today as I'm only seeing the Saturday show, but still, SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ;)

Two, it has just been made official: My cellphone company loves me. By that I mean, I've run up my phone bill so high and always paid it off in full so many times that they were willing to delay my next payment (which literally costs more than my flight to Vegas will...yay roaming charges) long enough that I can actually book my flight *Friday*, instead of waiting until January and possibly watching the price skyrocket in the meantime. Looks like it's going to be $300, but I get basically an entire two days there: get into Vegas at 10am on the 20th, leave at 11:45pm on the 21st. But yes, it is official: I will be in Vegas, come hell or high water, in my front row seat!

Again I say: It's only a month away!!!!!!!!!!! :] :blob2: :]
