Gotta be either "Annie Hall" or "Manhattan".
"Love and Death" is also brilliant... as is "Hannah and Her Sisters".

Much of the post-Hannah stuff got a little too cast heavy and lost the charm of his earlier stuff where he would work with basically the same people, ie. Diane Keaton, Dianne Weist, Mia Farrow, etc.
All the controversy crap-ola didn't help either... but his earlier stuff is brilliant. :wavey:

I don't think I've seen any of his movies, either... :o

Crimes and misdemeanors.

Both two of my overall all-time favorite movies in the world.

I can't abide by the little weasel but probably Match Point because you can't really tell it's by him and mercifully he is not in it.

Crimes and misdemeanors (sp?)

And from his early funny period "Take the money and run" and "Love and Death".

I don't like his latest stuff. "Small time crooks" and "Hollywood ending" were unbearable. And I thought it was impossible not to laugh throughout "Match Point". It was pathetic.

agreed. there were so many things wrong with 'match point', i could write a dissertation about it.

i would have to say that the last truly "great" thing he did was "manhattan murder mystery".

but my all time favourite is "manhattan", with "annie hall", "interiors", and "hannah & her sisters" close behind. honourable mention to "husbands & wives", because judy davis was brilliant in it.
