I love too many of the Abba classics to choose an overall favourite I've always thought 'The day before you came' is one of their most underrated songs.

My favorite is The Visitors. When I listen to it, I remember a really cool ass video one of the local dance bars showed with it. It was a montage of the movies Alien and Aliens showing Sigorney Weaver kickin' some alien queen ass! It was such a great song to dance too while watching it on the big screen. If I could, I'd redo the video with clips from South Park of Cartman getting "taken" and anal-probed by "visitors". I'd also add shots of him watching the movie Aliens. Mostly shots of him watching Aliens, mostly.

My close second is Chiquitita.

You're welcome... one of my fave subjects other than FM... ;) I realised today that I've been an Abba fan for 30 years! ****! I saw Abba the movie in 77 when I was 7!

Big fan here and one of the lucky few Americans to have seen them live when they came here on their short and only North American tour in '79.For solo songs I love "Can't Shake Lose' by Agnetha and "Thernody ' by Frida ..Chiquitita is my favorite Abba song .I don't see them as a guilty pleasure at all though ..they were far too musically accomplished to be considered that.

They weren't in the same room (it's fake)...only for the Sweden MAMMA MIA were they all there, but they didn't get on stage.

I love ABBA too. I discovered them in 96 at 18 and just totally fell in love with them. I'm a Frida fan more than anything but it's great to see everyone sharing in the ABBA love. How did I miss this thread!!!

I discovered them when I was around 5... back in 75! I remember seeing Abba the Movie when I was 7!

Growing up I never, ever heard of ABBA.

I think I first heard them in 92 when I heard Dancing Queen on the radio....I picked up and put back ABBA GOLD on cassette like 10 times in like 4 years before I finally bought it as my graduation present to myself! What a present! I was OBSESSED after like 2 listens.

What hooked me? Name of the Game-Frida's voice. I was like wow...she's cool.

I love Saltwater, noticed that on your playlist. I think it's the most gorgeous song.

It's funny....it took years for me and my best friend to get all those tapes of things ( like that Saltwater performance) you can get on YOUTUBE for free. It's crazy.

Well even though I've loved Abba for years I'm only just disovering stuff like that!!

Ok... I'm going to have to watch it again! Do you have a bigger picture of you and Frida so I can look out for you? I made a new friend on myspace recently (I believe you know her also) and she met Frida in London this year. She has strict instructions to let me know of any other possible Frida meetings cause I'm so there next time!

Get some sleep! hehe... did you know the UK X Factor had an Abba week recently? There are probably videos up on youtube. Most of them were absolutely dreadful. This guy, Ashley, slaughtered The Winner Takes It All.

Last post-Jennie and I actually belong to a couple of the same lists and I was so happy for her that she got to meet Frida!!

I love the X Factor because I'm actually a Leona fan. I think she's really good and she did an amazing Chiquitita ( I can't spell for beans). Every Saturday night I go onto YouTube to see what she's done. It was actually ABBA week that introduced me to her....the rest...yes, they sucked LOL!

Jennie was jealous that I had met Stevie so we have mutual jealousy going on right now ;)

I just replied to you blog about Leona! She is amazing and we have been voting for her! Have you seen her version of I Will Always Love You from Saturday?
