Actually, yes. :laugh: He is an über geek of the purest form. A wonderful guy - but could pretty much analyze anything into the ground (including sex) - it just never happened.

We kissed once - but it made me feel dead inside - it was the first time that a kiss did absolutely nothing for me...I mean nothing - it was sad. My poor friend..he's just too white and nerdy (Weird Al reference).

Eh - the Gospel group is totally not my cup of tea - and I thought it odd NPR would do such a looong story on them :shrug: Must be a holiday filler.

I just believe in public radio and community radio and the ties it can build with communities. It's something you don't get with the huge Clear Channel and Entercomm stations.

I worked in commercial radio for two years...not for any of the biggies - but it sucked just as bad. I HATED it...it was one of the worst jobs I've had.

Also - just recently CC made huge cuts in Rochester...a friend of mine got laid off..she had seniority, was highly qualified etc..BUT since she'd been there so long she was a more expensive employee so they sacked her. Assholes.

the only radio i listen to anymore is public/community radio. my favorite station around here is 91.3 WAPS (http://www.913thesummit.com/). they're one of the few stations that still has theme-oriented programming, like my personal favorite show "pickin' the grass" (bluegrass) on monday nights. :thumbsup:
