Well, my Lindsey-ear is becoming very sickening dominant lately:laugh: , but this song-which I totally love- struck me as a lindseylike, Tusk-worthy little gem. Dark and whiny. Lyrically a psycho-sister of Go Your Own Way, musically a druggedout mix of save a place and Walk a thin line?

Well, maybe I'm the only one that hears it but I think This could have been LB's tenth Tusksong. Well, if he sang it ofcourse, but I can totally hear him do that. ( I already hear him in the backingvocals-as if he recorded himself ten times for the raconteurs...) And he would have exploded in a screamy guitarmess in the end ofcourse....Notthatfunny-like....

Wow i totally hear what you here! Definitely Tusk-ish. Thats funny. Ya the backing vocals are what sealed the deal. Reminds me a lot of Save me a place.

I hear it as well. Very, very Lindsey/Tusk-like. I like this song a lot, as well as the single they released for the album ("Steady As She Goes"?) so I might pick the album up.

Yes, get their album, it's fabulous!

Gerald, I totally get the WATL similarity too!

That is SOO crazy -- I thought the exact same thing the first time I heard this song...like it was a missing track from TUSK!!
The Raconteurs rock -- the entire CD is fabulous...one of my favorite releases this year.

well, for me it'll be a tie this year between this album, Lindsey's and Greenland from Cracker ( if you haven't heard that one GO! for it! ). So glad It's not only my preoccupation that hears the connection.

I so hope that lindsey will record his next album with Jack White as a producer.......or Rick Rubin, or both......
