View Full Version : My revenge..

My all-time favourite band Genesis announced today that they are playing in Denmark, my home country! I'm really flying high because of this news. They haven't played here in 20 years! And haven't toured in general with this group of people in 14 years, not unlike Fleetwood Mac..

I can't help to think that this is maybe a compensation for the fact that Lindsey didn't set his feet on European soil, cause that depressed me. This is really the best upswing of luck ever..

Sorry guys, just had to get it of my chest. ;-)

They're starting the tour here in Finland for some strange reason (they've only been here once with that Ray-whatshisname). I'd only be going if Gabriel was there with them though. But I'm sure that many people will have a good time, including Patrick Bateman. :wavey:

 Looks like I am going also, I think they're hitting the Netherlands as well. Actually, I am being forced to go, but hey, it's no hardship. ;)

Kudos to the American Psycho reference. Or are you just refering to someone you know who happens to have the same name? :)

Without Gabriel, I pass too.

Great news for you, Nisse, but what has lindsey to do with this?

Who's in the lineup?

It's the so-called three-man lineup with Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins. The most commercial period of the band, you might say.. They will be joined by long-time part-time members Daryl Steurmer and Chester Thompson..

Great news for you, Nisse, but what has lindsey to do with this?

I know.. :) And I understand if some moderator removes this thread. It's just...I've been so jealous the whole of October, of all you guys travelling to several of Lindsey's shows. He's such a huge inspiration to me as a musician and a human being, and the fact that I'm missing that was really nagging me. And I was just kinda excited this afternoon when this news came up, that some action was coming my way. That's all I guess.. :o

Glad you like them. Those are the best ones. I took nearly 200 photos that night. I left my camera at home the next day and enjoyed the concert itself from the front row again (by using the previous night's ticket and putting my thumb over the date. Fortunately I was able to stand up with some of the Fireflies-UK members who I'd met the previous night).
