I just recently downloaded my favorite song of all time
Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Stevie Nicks.... you can find it on Limewire.
I tear up everytime I hear Lindsey singing.."..turn around."
Every now and then I get a little bit lonely and your'e never coming 'round (Jeff)
"turn around"
every now and then I get a little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears.
"turn around"
every now I get a little bit restless and I dream of something wild(Ryan)
"turn around"
I REALLY NEED YOU TONITE...forever's gonna start tonite..forevers gonna start tonite...Once upon a time there was light in my life..now there's only love in the dark(Jeff)..
There's nothing I can do...A Total Eclipse Of The Heart.
PS..I bet she sings it in Vegas!!!!
Much Love,
Widow:cool:

STEVIE DOESN'T BLOODY SING THIS SONG U TOTALY AND UTTER FOOL!! This song was sung by Bonnie Tyler on her album "Faster than the speed of night". It is an insult to Stevie that this song should be associated with her. I mean for god's sake - the woman who sings it is WELSH!!! WELSH I TELL YOU!!! You're insulting Stevie when you say she sang it.

your point being?
It makes me so sick when people do that. On limewire, for example, it says "Stevie Nicks - Thunder Only Happens When It's Raining". THAT IS SO ANNOYING!! The other one that pisses me off is on my mates MP3 player: "Like a White Wing Dove - Fleetwood Mac". So what I am passionate about Stevie? I have good reason to be...get over it.

People do that with Cyndi Lauper, too. I'm sure people downloading on Limewire or whatever still think Manic Monday is done by her. Someone actually listed Total Eclipse as being by her, too, just recently on Livejournal. I just chalk it up to ignorance and idiocy. It bugs me, but if this thread is a joke... which it is... why let it bug you?

We all have limits to our patience and times when we react a little too emotionally to something that someone here says, but it's always best to not fly off the handle. So maybe take the time to re-read what you've written and think twice (or three times) about whether or not you really should post it.
That goes for everyone... not just you. :)
(By the way, I happen to love Bonnie Tyler, and don't think Stevie could have come close to topping Bonnie's rendition of "Total Eclipse." That song is perfection.)

That's another American trait. Laziness and a near total ignorance of the cultures of the rest of the world.
I suppose I could just look it up. Eh, too much effort.
Awww I love americans. You're all so funny to poke fun at (JOKE). There are only three things wrong with America:
1. Bush
2. MASSIVE pollution
3. Bush!!!!

You said it, not me :D
I wonder if any "cultured" Americans are going to jump in and ream me for negatively stereotyping my fellow countrymen.
But, you know, the thing about most stereotypes is that they're at least partially based in truth.

Hey, I'll accept guilt on the subject of pollution. I'm terribly wasteful. :o
I do, however, donate to environmental causes to help clean up the problem. Actually being proactive and changing my own habits is another matter. I'll give money, sure, but effort? Eh.. it's that lazy trait again.
As for Bush - I did NOT vote for his stupid ass in either election (And, as for my own state and our idiot leader, I didn't vote for Ahnuld. Not in the recall, and not in Tuesday's election.) Also, in the first election, the popular vote was for Gore, but the stupid POINTLESS, OUTDATED electoral college picked Bush. And they wonder why so many people don't even bother to vote at all?

It's a brittish thing. Ya know how you have punks and goths and moshures and all different types of people..well a chav is a type of person. Also known as a "scally" in parts of the country, a chav is almost always a delinquant and most of them go on to study plumbing or building or something that doesn't require any knowledge learnt in school because a chav NEVER pays attention and sometimes doesn't even go to school. They smoke, have dreadful dress sence (burbery, tracky bottoms, fred perry, helly hanson) and listen to "nieche" music which is computer generated crap and old rock songs turned into dance etc...

Semi-cultured here and I won't. All I need to do is have a short discussion with any member of my family to reinforce it.

the next time your sh*tter isnt working and you have no idea what to do, you may feel different about plumbers. Ive had 6 major plumbing probs in 5 years. They are gods.
