I was at bellaillume.com and accoring to the site, the set list for the tour was much different than stevie's norm, including no Outside the rain...

Did anyone see her on this tour, and is this really true??

Much Love,
Ethan

This was her set list during the early part of the tour. By the time I saw her in San Francisco for the final show (KFOG concert for kids), Outside the Rain, Bombay Sapphires, and Planets of the Universe had been dropped.

Enchanted
Outside the Rain
Dreams
Gold Dust Woman
Sorcerer
Everyday
Rhiannon
Stand Back
Planets of the Universe
Too Far From Texas
Bombay Sapphires
Fall From Grace
Edge of Seventeen
(Encore)

Thanks you all for answering my question. When I read it, I just though I would ask because I didn't know that she dropped OTR....

Much Love,
Ethan

I saw Stevie a few times on the TISL tour. Sheryl Crow appeared with her at some shows, so that could be why you're seeing such a varied set list. IMO, she was having a lot of problems vocally on this tour. As Waddy said in his Q&A here there were sound issues. At the shows I went to her vocals sounded lackluster and it seemed there was really no emotion behind them. At the show in Detroit, she did whip out the most beautiful, sheer sapphire blue shawl for Bombay Sapphires. I never saw it again after that as I think that song might have been dropped later in the tour? Also, I was so stoked about her doing Planets Of The Universe and I was really underwhelmed by the live performance of it. :(

The first of the three shows I saw on this tour was at Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Va. I caught a LOT of flak from people for my observations, which were that she basically sleepwalked through the show except for two songs: "Fall From Grace" and "I Need To Know." Everything else was lacklustre. At least the two songs mentioned were great.

The second show I went to was her second D.C. area appearance, at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. She was MUCH more into the show there. I even though "Dreams" was fresh that show!

I also saw the AHI Benefit show and she was somewhere in between the sleepy Stevie and the fiery Stevie we all know and love.

"Planets Of The Universe" did not transfer well to stage AT ALL. I was glad she dropped it later in the set because it just didn't work live. "Bombay Sapphires" was all right and "Too Far From Texas" missed the second lead vocal (why Sharon didn't take lead vocals like Stevie tried to get her to do is beyond me).

At one of the shows in California, she even dropped "Sorcerer." At the mini-show (the one that Blondie headlined), "Every Day" wasn't in the set but "Fall From Grace" was. That song was great live on the TISL tour when I saw it because she was REALLY into the song each of those three times.
