Jimmy (AliceLover) is seeing it as we speak. He should have much to say about it.

I want to see it though, I loved Saw II. Of course, I had to go twice, because I wasn't exactly watching during the 1st time. ;) :wavey:

I haven't seen the first two. :sorry:

I'm more into romance comedies than horror flicks.

I can't wait, even though I'll be watching with my fingers over my eyes. When we rented Hostel, I was literally behind Mark on the couch peering over his shoulder. I don't think I watched half the movie, really.

I think gore is amazing. So I'm a freak. Oh well. Brad couldn't handle the girl getting her wrists slit, though. :p

Hostel was awesome! The first half was boring, and the gore was a little too much, but the ending made the whole movie. Gooooooooood stuff.

there was an awful lot of tittage in that movie. like the first half was nothing but full-on cantaloupe action.

but, you're right, the last half was amazing.

I'm definitely going to see Saw hopefully this weekend. I loved the first two. I read a couple of reviews that seemed to liked it but said it was more gory than the first two.

I saw the first Saw in the cinema with my then current girlfriend. I loved it. I was laughing all the way throught it. We broke up about a week later because she thought I was sick laughing at "those poor, innocent people". Well, it's only a film darlin' :p. Could never really be bothered with the sequel.

so I saw this last night and it was WAY more than I anticipated or wanted.

I did not even watch the first 10 minutes. it was way over the top and more than I could handle. I was so grossed out. I don't have a stomach of steel, but I can normally deal with a little gore here and there, but this was just too much. it kind of leveled off after the first 10 minutes tho. the plot was pretty good...still revealing layers of the story and what went on even in the first movie. I loved that. I don't like how it ended though. definitely room for Saw IV

I saw it today and I liked it. The beginning is very gruesome. I keep asking myself, am I some sick person to watch a movie like this? I didn't figure out the ending but once I knew it seemed like it should have been more obvious to me. I read that that the Jigsaw actor has signed on to do Saw 4 and 5. I think it would be wise to end the series now since it did tie up a lot of loose ends but I'm sure I will go to Saw 4 next year.

I know. me too. I kinda pieced it together, but couldn't get the two "love interests" figured out.

really? wow. well, I'm anxious to see how that will work out. wikipedia a lot of times will post spoilers of movies in production. I keep checking there.

Watched the first one on video with my sister and thought it was alright

Saw the second one in a theatre with an ex-and thought the movie was not as good as the first one

Don't know if I want to see the third one:shrug:

I thought Saw 3 didn't really cut the cheese...

If they make a Saw 4 Ill be enraged, but I don't want to ruin anything. lemme just say you need a STOMACH OF STEEL to see this movie, and I am a horror fanatic. I own every horror movie known to man. This was byfar the most grusome.

And BTW i think the people who laugh at horror movies only use it as a defense mechanism because they don't want to be scared.

1 - worse than Hostel? Oh man..... :(

2 - sure, unless it's a movie like Slither. Then you laugh because it's just plain stupid.

1 I think Saw 3 is definitely more gruesome than Hostel.

2 I enjoyed Slither. I think it was supposed to be sort of humorous and campy.

I think it was supposed to be humorous & campy too. But I don't think they succeeded.

I don't think I laughed once. Well, maybe when the guy in the car screamed at the guy in the truck "get the f*ck out of the way, c*cksucker!" and the woman on the street looks at him & says "oh, good morning Mr. Mayor."

:xoxo: I cannot watch these bloody flicks. I close my eyes during the gorey parts so what's the point?
