Wow. That's pretty cool that she went. It's funny to see her standing next to her former class mates. You look at them and try to picture them rocking out on stage like she does, but they all look like grandmas! Thanks for posting that. She does look cute.

I'm surprised she went but she looks really happy to be there. I like that she's not wearing a ton of makeup but it would be so nice to see her in a different outfit. But as Jason says, somethings never change. :laugh:
can you imagine going to something like this? being one of the most famous celebs from that whole age group and still rocking today. with a ton of moolah and fabulous things.

part of me looks at her and thinks wow she stands out...she's a star and part of me is like, look...she's so cute and normal.

Okay, I have to admit, when I saw the title of this thread, I was like, "yeah right" and then I open up the thread and wow, I was pleasantly suprised. I guess I never really thought about Stevie doing this. This is so cool.

Sometimes I think all the stuff we normal average joes do from day to day to have fun or whatever and sometimes I think, would Stevie do that?

Like say, has she ever played a game of miniature golf or went bowling. :D
Makes the mind wonder sometimes.

I wonder what Stevie is laughing at in the photo of the MS Window screen in the background.

And this reunion took place on Oct. 7th, wow it took a long time for the photos to come out. I wonder how many more are lurking around out there somewhere.

It looks like Stevie had fun and that is what life is all about.

I actually thought she was Homecoming Queen.

I'm pretty sure she was runner-up. But that was at Menlo-Atherton High, her senior year. This reunion is for Arcadia High. I didn't know she went to different high schools, thought she went to Atherton the entire time.

Stevie and the woman sitting down in the first picture both look less wrinkled, and they both are a little heavier than the other two. There is a correlation, at least at their age.
The woman who is most wrinkled has lovely bone structure, and eyes, and is very elegant. I think they all look pretty good, considering they aren't (I think) performers.

The wrinkles are coming (for all of us) and there is no escape, but it is cool that Stevie has fought them off this long.

I do agree that seeing her in any other color than black would have been wonderful, but maybe Stevie didn't want to stand out even more than she does already with her being a celeb and all. Just my take on it. I guess she wanted to dress down a bit.

ITA, that's why I mentioned a no-go on her more elaborate outfits. :laugh: I don't mean stage clothes, it just would have been nice to see her in another color. Shoot, at this point I'd be thrilled with navy blue or chocolate brown. :shrug: I doubt she'd stand out in that same outfit in another color.

Yeah, I don't really understand why she even went if she didn't graduate from this school. This thread title is misleading.

She does look very good for her age though. In defense of her wearing black, I've gone to my high school reunions (not going to say how many though :laugh: ), & I always wear black. My reasoning is the you should wear black at night. Don't ask me why, but even when I go to concerts, I have to have some black on. I don't really care if it's a slimming color or not (as I'm not overweight & neither is Stevie). This is just my reasoning. :shrug:

I've never paid $100 for dinner & dancing. I think the most I've paid is maybe $40 to $50 & that was for me & my husband.

I would bet the word got around that she was coming. For my 25th class reunion last week (which I skipped), registration was required and you had to RSVP for all the festivities. She must have had to do something similar other than buy a ticket at the door.

I think it's cool she went, too. My 20th was this past summer and I hate that I missed it. HS was a good time for me. I certainly had all the angst but had I known that my father was going to die in my senior year, I would have enjoyed what little innocence I had left. I'm so Debbie Downer!!! :sorry:

p.s. I think she really needs to cut her hair. Not a lot...I know that's her like mo...but just a few inches. Long hair is dated after a certain age. IMO. I let her slide because *duh* she's the Nicks-a-nator.

Ya know - I had my 20th last Nov. It was great. I really liked all of the people I went to school with - my class was about 100 people or so though. It was great to see all of them.

Interestingly, I bet La Nicks felt really relaxed arounf her old friends. I did - though I am still friends with many of them. She said somewhere that she was still friends with some of them as well - something about visitng one at her house or something like that.

Also, I bet Stevie in some way went for Robin's sakem which is particularly touching to me.

I know. those pictures...I really had a moment there when I first saw it. I can't imagine how hard it is for Stevie some days to not have Robin. I'm sure Robin, Kim and Matthew are very proud of Stevie.
