OK, these are all that I got because I was caught by security using a camera that was OK to use anyway. Don't ask. There is also a video clip that I posted under "Cincinnati-BWANA!!!"

Wow! Even though you got "caught" you got some real keepers anyways :) We are going to the show tonight and I don't even know if I should try taking pics or not........ :distress:

Bring the camera! The only thing that they can tell you to do is to put the camera away. Good luck!

Thank you for the compliments! No, I am not a photographer in 'real' life but there is always a chance that it could happen for me some day. I do belong to the Photographic Society of Rhode Island but to be honest I have not even gone to a meeting in a long time.
Oh and Lindsey, well let's just say that he is one really great guy! I will let David tell his story.

That photo off-stage is wonderful (as are the other ones).

Were these all taken without flash then?? I've been practicing today not using flash but most pics are blurry...... I don't know....... :distress:

No flash! I turned up the ISO to 800 which of course makes the photos grainy but at least they are pretty clear. I was not able to set the ISO back to normal for that LB hotel photo so as a result that too is grainy but I did not want to impose on him too much.

Those are amazing pics!! :thumbsup: I hope all my pics turn out and I don't get scolded by stupid Camera Nazis. :mad:

No flash! I turned up the ISO to 800 which of course makes the photos grainy but at least they are pretty clear. I was not able to set the ISO back to normal for that LB hotel photo so as a result that too is grainy but I did not want to impose on him too much.

Hmmm...... I was practicing with the auto mode...... I don't know if I can adjust the ISO in that mode--have to get the booklet out I guess and read up..... ha ha :laugh:

Don't ask? You peaked my curiousity. Were cameras allowed? As I mentioned in a previous post...I went to the Milwaukee show (w/smuggled camera) and without asking or anything...the security guy announced to everyone that it was OK to take pix but don't use flash....so no one needed to hide their camera or worry about security. Just interested to know the details in case i take a camera to a future concert. (thanks)

Welsh, do you know if Digital SLR cameras are allowed (the larger cameras with long lenses)? That's the only camera I brought to Chicago, thinking my dad had a point-and-shoot camera.. I just can't afford to have my camera taken up, too high of a price tag on it :/ :shrug:

NO, I would say that cameras with removable lenses (SLR) are not allowed at any venue. It seems as if LB is OK with non-flash photography but the venues don't seem to care and pick on people using any type of a camera.:shrug:

Bummer. I'm going to call park west in just a few to find out what their camera policy is and where parking is. Thanks for the info Pattie.

When I was told no photos, I went to security and asked what the deal was. They told me it was Lindsey's management, NOT Taft Theater policy. Because I mentioned that on the door (as well on their website) Taft says "non-professional" cameras allowed. So that's their 10 second andswer.

Which sucked. They took my batteries and I do NOT have a photo of him signing my guitar, but here is what I took when I got home:
