Musicians in the House....

[PsychCat]

Who in here plays an instrument also represented in Fleetwood Mac?
Also, were you originally influenced by someone in FM to get started?

For example.... I am a drummer and got my first set after seeing FM on the Rumours tour. I saw Mick's drumset and KNEW.... and been drumming ever since.
He's still my absolute fave even though I've never been especially big on the "drumsuit" (especially after the first tour).
But I love his style of playing and that he has such an appreciation for drums.

Hey! I'm a drummer too!!

Actually I'm more of a percussionist, but in recent years I've done nothing but set.

Mick had nothing to do with me choosing to become a percussionist/drummer. My sister played the same thing, so I just followed in her footsteps.

I'm glad to hear that someone else love's Mick...it seems here people love to hate Mick, but I really like him and I LOVE watching him play. And I don't even mind the "drumsuit"

So while he wasn't a factor in my playing, I was proud to join his ranks when I "discovered" FM :)
