SO. Did anyone go to Falls Church? Haven't seen any fan reviews of the show or any mentions of the setlist or anything... It's almost like it didn't happen.

I went. I loved the show but Linds seemed rushed and very detached from the audience. It was a super small stage set up and there were some guitar problems throughout the show. He did BTLH as an encore, all alone on the stage. Early in the show, someone screamed out "Buckingham Nicks!!" Linds smiled and walked to the mic and said "soo, I am guessing you want that out on cd?" The crowd cheered and he said "well, we are working on that..." He made a circle motion with is fingers as he said that. (I guess he meant "full circle"..or something) Another guy yelled out "RhiannA". Linds laughed and said "I'll take it, I'll take it". It was quite cute.
I also went to NY and Lindsey was a different man at that show. Smiling, interacting, looking like he was enjoying himself. Save me a Place was stunning.... He talked alot more but the most glaring difference for me was how much happier he seemed in NY. He didn't seem tense and rushed like he did in Falls Church.

Exactly Kelly! I have some Falls Church photos to post later. Cameras nazis were in full force at that show, however.
I was at the Falls Church show. It was fantastic. The highlights for me were the new songs. I loved It Was You! His version of World Turning was one of the best I've heard in years. The new twist on Tusk was also great. He was in good spirts and he sounded great.I thought he really did connect with the audience.I think someone screemed LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM and he said I'll take that. Great show.I can't wait for the next record and tour.

yeah!! BN on CD. (hopefully with some bonus material!)
So Lindsey was more interactive in NYC than Falls Church? He was def. not as interactive in NYC as he was for any SYW shows.
Lindsey was happier in NY because NY rules!! (but I am biased) He did say "It's good to be back in NY!" And here I go hijacking the Falls Church thread. I'll stop now! :sorry:

As the tour progresses I am sure the 'happiness' will improve...I believe he said in an article he is nervous or would be nervous the first few shows as he for whatever reason seemed to feel unsure of his reception and whether or not they could 'pull it off'.
I am curious what Curtis' thoughts on the show are. Hopefully he will let us know of his experience.

Yup he was much more interactive in NY..but you see now what I meant out front? It was much different than SYW. Maybe it was nerves. I loved the show and he seemed much looser.

Seriously, the Falls Church show was not as good as the NYC one, though I had the best seats ever, right under his microphone, which was not even a foot away from me. I could read the lables on the paddles in front of him.

So, what does everyone think of the man dressed in black? I think it is cute he has made the big switch from white to black.

i was at the falls church show and i loved it. i thought linds connected well w/ the audience - he just needed some time to get his "sea legs" back. i was only 3 people from the stage - view was great w/ the exception of a few tall people i had to ask to not stand in front of me. my boyfriend and i got elbowed alot - a tap on the shoulder would have been better manners.

One thing that stood out at this show is this:
Someone, at the beginning of the show, yelled out "BUCKINGHAM NICKS!" Lindsey laughed and said, "You want that on CD, eh?" The crowd cheered. He then said "We are working it."

that was awesome when the guy yelled that and when someone yelled LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM at the top of his lungs  and you could hear it over the entire crowd. I was up front and it seemed like everyone was having a blast except for this one bouncer who just kinda stared off into space in the other direction even when Lindsey was playing the GYOW solo like three feet from the back of his head:eek:
