LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Can Travis Barker really make women go this crazy? His ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, was involved in a nightclub fracas with Paris Hilton early Wednesday morning.

Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, filed for divorce in August from Moakler, a former beauty queen now appearing on "Dancing With the Stars." In September, Barker was apparently videotaped kissing Hilton, who needs no introduction.

Then Hilton encountered Moakler at the Hyde club in Hollywood last night. The following reenactment is based on reports by police, publicists for both women, but unfortunately no pugilistic experts:

Hilton says Moakler walked up to her, "used the most vile of language" and then punched her in her jaw. (YES! I've been waiting for someone to jack that STD factory. I hope Shanna used the C word, too.)

Moakler contends she exchanged mere profanities with Hilton, at which point Hilton's ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos emerged from the entourage, bent Moakler's wrists, poured a drink on her and shoved her down some stairs. (Not cool Stavros, not cool.)

Hilton, 25, and Moakler, 31, both filed police reports alleging battery. Officer Karen Smith said police took pictures of Moakler and Hilton at the station, and that police planned to speak with witnesses at the club as part of their investigation.

Moakler and the tattooed punk rocker Barker were an unlikely pair when they married in 2004, documenting their lavish wedding and life on the MTV reality show "Meet the Barkers." They had two children. Moakler also has a 7-year-old daughter with boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

TMZ.com posted what it said was video of Barker and Hilton making out in a New York nightclub last month. But Hilton's publicist, Elliot Mintz, said the two are "just friends."

And pouring a drink on her? What an asshole! These spoiled heirs and heiresses really need a reality check. Unfortunately, it will probably never happen. Kudos to Shanna for doing what a lot of us were thinking of doing.

i'd be pissed too, perez's site i think it was was showing pics od paris & travis barker in amsterdam for the weekend, girl gets around~

I must be the only one here rooting for Paris :shrug: I dont care who you are or what your provocation is, its not OK for Shanna to hit Paris. And if Stavros was defending her, I say good for him :nod:

PS: I dont care if Im in the minority, Shanna was in the wrong and I think Stavros was gallant in sticking up for her.

ok, I ask you: why did SHE deserve the smack? Why not Travis? it takes TWO to tango ya know.....and even if Paris IS seen with many a man, is that a reason to slap her? I dont think so. I think if Shanna has a right to be mad at anyone, why not be mad at her ex? Answer: because he doesnt want her and she cant go up to him and get mad at him when he filed for separation.....not only that, but I read on TMZ that the reason he left Shanna is because she was never at home to take care of her kids. So, apparently he's right...she's out keeping tabs on what HE'S doing instead of staying at home being a MOM! :mad: :mad:

I think Shanna would have had a better leg to stand on if Travis was still with her but he isnt, and therefore, SHANNA is the one who is out of line IMO.

Plus she has a supremely annoying countenance and speaking voice.

looks like shanna's ex-to-be is going thru some health stuff right now, he thought his arm was just broken, but now there is talk of his arm also having a tumor~
i wish him a speedy recovery!!!~

Travis Barker is speaking out about the terrible arm injury he recently suffered.

In a posting on his official MySpace blog the +44 drummer reveals hat he might possibly have a tumor in his arm!

He also states that he won't be won't be playing any scheduled shows for the time being with his band or with his pal, DJ A.M. The pair were supposed to perform at Pure in Las Vegas this Saturday.

Also, Barker - who ignored his condition for three weeks - is being told by his doctors to change his vegetarian diet because it's making his bones too weak.

SO AS OF NOW I WONT BE PLAYING ON SATURDAY WITH AM OR ANY OF THE UPCOMING +44 SHOWS. I HAD THE WORST PAIN IN MY ARM THE DAY AFTER WE FILMED OUR VIDEO AND I REALLY THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT. WE PLAYED FOR 8 HRS LIKE I USUALLY DO BUT I GUESS THIS TIME WAS DIFFERENT. I THEN PLAYED OUR ENTIRE EUROPEAN LEG OF OUR PROMO TOUR IN THE WORST PAIN I'VE EXPERIENCED EVER. I GOT X-RAYS IN LONDON BY AN URGENT CARE DOCTOR THAT SAID HE COULDNT DETERMINE WHAT EXACTLY HAD HAPPENED. WHEN I GOT BACK TO LA I SAW ANOTHER DOCTOR AND HAD EVERY TEST POSSIBLE TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON IN MY ARM. THE MRI/X-RAY SHOWED I'D BEEN PLAYING WITH A BROKEN ARM FOR 3 WEEKS AND OR POSSIBLE TUMOR IN MY ARM. IM AT A LOSS OF WORDS, JUST TAKING EVERYTHING ONE DAY AT A TIME. I'VE BEEN TOLD TO EAT MEAT AND CHANGE MY DIET(IVE BEEN VEGETARIAN FOR 16 YEARS) CAUSE ITS MAKING MY BONES WEAK. I NEVER THOUGHT I'D BREAK A BONE FROM PLAYING MY DRUMS TOO HARD/ TOO LONG...EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. I'M GONNA SPEND THE NEXT 6 WEEKS WITH MY BABIES AND PRODUCING....SEE YOU @ A SHOW SOON.

I happen to like Paris. She fascinates me, I dont know why. (Madonna used to fascinate me too, but in her case it was more of a "train wreck" fascination)

I think Paris is very pretty and photogenic. She may also be relatively talentless, but so is a large part of Hollywood, yet we sit glued to our sets night after night :shrug:

Oh I don't hate her, but she is super annoying. Have you seen pics of her as a teen? Her hair is nothing close to blonde and her natural skin tone is very pale.

I'm a Madonna fan.

There's a book coming out next month that supposedly blows the lid off the fantasy life concocted by Mama Hilton. From the excerpts I've read, it's no surprise that Paris has turned out the way she has.

This is why I said "regardless of the backstory". I don't fully know what went on with Shanna, Paris, Travis or Stavros. I was just amused that Paris finally got what she deserved. I don't really care that it was Shanna, and to be honest I really don't know much about her. The bottom line is that Paris Hilton is Hollywood's glory hole, and one chick had finally had enough and checked Paris' ass.
